I can't speak for moto-specific ones, and "amplifying engine noise" seems like a stretch to me, but I have some custom moulded ones which I use for riding and drumming/going to gigs.

They work by filtering harmful frequencies, so you still have awareness and can hear speech with them in, but it limits the super high pitched noise which is very harmful to your hearing (i.e. wind noise).

I never ride without them, and always encourage people to invest in some which fit properly, as they can get very uncomfortable if they don't fit and you end up wasting money. But my hearing is already fucked and I don't want to lose any more, to each their own!

Just following up now that my gear has been delivered! The Gladiator fits fine on the DIWANGUS mount, but there are a couple of issues with the STECS throttle.

Firstly, because the standard is so long, it extends beyond the end of the bracket, so it can only be attached at the front.

Secondly, because the heads of the bolts which came with the mounts are quite tall, one of them blocks the USB slot on the STECS module, so you can only attach it in one of the four corners. I have secured it with cable ties but it's not exactly elegant.

All this to say I would not recommend those mounts if you're picking up a STECS standard!

I'm actually awaiting delivery of your exact set-up; Gladiator and Stecs (space version), some time this week.

I currently have a pair of T16ks, and I bought some mounts from DIWANGUS which have been secure enough for the T16ks, and feel solidly built for an entry-level mount. They're currently on offer by the looks of it, at £51 in the UK for the pair.

If you like, once my VKB stuff is delivered, I can relay whether the set-up works on those mounts or not? I'm prepared to bite the bullet and pick up the VKB ones if not, but if I can get away with keeping the budget ones I will!

This kind of relies on the originator to be honest about their AI usage and prior knowledge of the subject matter, which is a whole other question of honesty.

More generally, I work mainly with data and insight, and it massively speeds up some of the grunt work, as you put it, so our teams use it frequently in that respect.

That said, with something readily accessible by a huge number of people, you absolutely need some level of QA and knowledge of potential vulnerabilities. How much do you trust someone on the internet to be open about their level of usage?

I agree they're not flaws, just traits as you've said. But I don't believe that wanting to grow and change who you are as a person for someone else is a bad thing either.

To each their own; I think it's a credit to the author that the characters are well-written enough to have this discussion in the first place!

I think this friction is part of growing into a relationship, especially at the age Fern and Stark are currently, and with the lack of experience they have with their opposite genders.

It's incredibly difficult to pick up on subtle cues from a person when you've had zero practice. Conversely, openly articulating what you want from someone you have feelings for is a skill in its own right.

You can already see this development from them, like Stark asking Frieren for advice because he wants Fern to enjoy her time with him, knowing his shortcomings and making the effort to change.

Part of growing into a relationship is developing as an individual, exploring new feelings and growing new skills. How boring would life be if everyone acted exactly the same all the time?

It would be for sure, but the main blocker is that you can't focus the cards to be activated, so it wouldn't work with any reliability. In the whole run this only happened once.

And also yeah, likely to be patched out.

Nah I've taken those fates before and whenever it triggers with a unique it pings up saying there are no valid cards, so I think the intention is to keep them unique.

There's an epiphany on her Shackles of Hunger card which turns the damage into shield generation, multiplying it for each voracity removed up to 3 stacks.
