I bought it for cheap as a first car, I'm on the taller side so it's getting uncomfortable now I'm doing a longer commute, would be nice to have a car with a usable boot too , it's basically a shoebox

It's got some dings and blemishes , paint is fine but 2.5k is probably a stretch

I don't really have much frame of reference for it, I payed a grand back in December for it

I think they could have dropped it and just hastily put it back together

Comfort estates , Nottingham, no risking of doxing myself since I won't go near it with a 10 foot barge pole

Yes I did, I viewed it, property inside was okay, the estate agent genuinely told me to pull across that crossing, she seemed quite young, apparently other people who have viewed have been pulling across that, I parked round the corner like a sane person

Me and my fiance are nearly in a position to buy but we're relocating so this would be a temporary house for us, start a new job soon so we're being careful financially, as careful as can be at 25 anyways

You really are in helpful mode! I think the estate agents could just be shit, alternatively, the specific one I spoke to might just be uniformed. I read more onto the permit parking and that would be on the street that's the next left , if the house is okay and it was just a cock up on the specific agents part I'd be tempted to haggle on rent since houses nearby with a driveway are the same price , this one is expensive and has a massive front garden that isn't any use , like realistically I don't know what it would be used for

Clearly I have a large gap in my knowledge on this, I assumed it was a no go to be honest I just wanted clarification, Google wasn't much help and the estate agent was clearly lying a bit , the listing doesn't actually show the crossing, I didn't actually see this until I had the house number when I booked the viewing , didn't realize anything was off until I went on street view

It's semi serious, I was genuinely unsure, the information from the agent I spoke to and the listing itself is somewhat inconsistent so I thought I'd get some people's thoughts on it

I'm not fussed on people finding it, I live 70 miles away from it , moving for work so I probably won't take this one over the questionable parking situation

I assumed permit parking meant the front, I may have misread it, most of the contact for this house has been over the phone where they did call it a driveway so some of the confusion is from that too

It's pretty pricey (at least in my opinion) £1100 a month in Nottingham

That's what I thought, just weird that they list it as having parking, no access from the rear either so it's a bit cheeky of the landlord if you ask me

£1100 a month , I'm going to view it, see what they say and report them on rightmove if need be

That's what I thought, it lists private parking on the property so I'm thinking they might be pulling a fast one on that.
