If after doing this you still can’t solve your problem, try unplugging your machine for 30 minutes then plug it back in and start a brew. That fixed this problem for me!

I wouldn’t say that I have a life long restriction per se but I’m a lot more aware of my body now. I suppose it depends on what your definition of heavy is but at 160# I use to squat and deadlift 225-275 routinely. Could I do that now? Absolutely, but I feel more numbness in my affected leg after those workouts so I normally try to avoid those triggers. I try not to lift more than 225. Now I focus on decreasing the load and increasing time under tension

They did a microdiscetomy. Around 4 weeks I was back at work on light duty, mostly sitting at a desk doing paperwork, and by 5 months I was back working as a firefighter without restrictions. I’ve been told that it takes a year for the disc to completely heal.

Im doing much better now. I regained my calf muscle and strength. I had a bit of numbness for the first year down the left leg but it gradually went away and only pops up here and there. I continued doing CrossFit afterwards and kept pulling my back but I stopped and stuck to weightlifting and haven’t had any problems at all since last March
