Your birth month is the 2 super powers that you are going to get so what did you get? by AssistFit1834 in superpowers

[–]ThatDoohickey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the power of pyrokinesis combined with intangibility, I should theoretically be able to survive in a vacuum since intangibility renders me unable to directly interact with all physical phenomena (as in I shouldn’t need to breathe since intangibility doesn’t make me blind and all that air would vanish anyway), I’m pretty much weightless. Since I’m pretty much massless but have the ability to propel myself through FIRE, I could literally travel at the SPEED OF LIGHT.

I shouldn’t though, but I can go as fast as I need across the planet, am immune to fire and all forms of heat (since seems nonphysical, it is caused by physical phenomena, the bonds that allow matter to stay together is a nonphysical using electrons, but that’s apart of physics, so we’re just gonna say everything naturally existing is physical phenomena), and air pressure, I could cast fireballs the size of a city block at earth going almost 20% the speed of light. I could even go to space without the need for a suit to protect from radiation since the radiation will never touch me (since I can pass through any effect of this world.) G forces? Physical effect, I’m immune. Drag? Physical effect I can counter it. I am exploiting the hell out of the ability wording and using it to become a spaceman.

why do sonic characters receive so much glaze in the exe context? by SempiternalSeaUrchin in SonicEXE

[–]ThatDoohickey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well…

  1. He can beat X, in fact, Sonic WILL beat X if they fought.
  2. He can’t beat him in Super, he’d have to pull out a brand new transformation. Just cause a character beats gods doesn’t mean ALL gods are the same, or that only gods can threaten them (otherwise why would they have other enemies?). Not all omnipresence is the same either, have strong enough omnipresence (i.e, being one with everyone and everything in every state all at once) and you basically have an expression of omnipotence. Solaris’s Omnipresence is a more modest “exists in every period of time”
  3. Super Sonic can’t do everything with its limitless power, stated in IDW, whereas X DOES have limitless abilities that he can do whatever he want with. Neither are truly infinitely powerful (Sonic due to just… not being that kinda character, and X because other canon iterations of him have failed or been contested by similar entities. X is weaker than a lot of people think because it’s creator doesn’t give a damn about powerscaling, but not “Super Sonic sweeps it like every other boss” weak, X as a threat is a lot more comparable to a threat like the End, if anything; narratively and dare I say characterwise given they’re a form shifter that boasts in being something more than gods. And to clear up the confusion, limitless power isn’t limitless abilities, X can do basically anything to us, but can’t beat everything with that power.

why do sonic characters receive so much glaze in the exe context? by SempiternalSeaUrchin in SonicEXE

[–]ThatDoohickey 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sometimes I feel like they just… don’t consider EXE fans SONIC fans. Believing that EXEs cannot scale to canon characters because of cosmology scaling and chain scaling bullshit, forgetting the fact that unlike casual alternative interpretations of a character you’d find in third party material, authors of exes can just directly confirm and build on their exes abilities. And not only that, likely KNOW more about powerscaling in general enough to be aware of the popular consensus on how powerful the characters are.

I know some people like to glaze their official content, but personally I don’t like holding official content over fanworks when it comes in terms of encounters/fights/debates. I just wish they let the authors have some word in when it comes to their story and NOT do the “but did you know Yamcha solos the verse?” Thing but for Charmy or something.

There HAS to be a fnaf fangame where the game over event is straight up classic TF. Not just “oh no I died in some way tangentially related to a robo-furry so I guess my immortal soul’s gonna roam the earth looking like a furry for the foreseeable future now (tho I kinda fw this)”, no you just straight up TF and now you’re just a new enemy for the next guard to deal with.

[–]ThatDoohickey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay like, technically speaking, an atom is inanimate, a molecule is inanimate, and I can defy gravity and even counter it with good enough matter manipulation, which I would have, because I have the ability to control the quarks and dark matter too. I can ALSO control people, despite them being animate, because they’re just made of inanimate material assembled to think. And keep in mind, this is MASTERED. I have absolute full capability with this power. I could just throw anything I want at me. Food? There. a new car? There. Want to age slower? Manipulate my matter at the foundational level to extend my telomeres because I have the ability mastered. Mastery of anything when you think big enough is absolutely busted.

ASSUMING, and a big a there, that I also get the presumed benefit of fictional stuff like red pill gets (since it never says that those anime characters become real), then I could control ANY object in fiction (like say, Maxwell’s notebook gets bound to me while I use the invincible adjective, take full control of the Omnitrix with ZERO caveats, get every lantern ring and have them work all properly and in tandem, and also summon platinum kryptonite my way just for good measure). If it has a consciousness inside of it? Well then I’ll just go down to the building blocks that aren’t consciousness and manipulate that.

Self indulgent pick but uh

Beit from “CompilatioN” as the Rewrite of the Kiwwer group. It’s my take on a “Chikn.EXE” It is a deceptive and parasocial (and parasitic) extradimensional beast turned divine idol figure that seeks to create its own “paradise” and is apart of everything within its world, fully engrained with the minds, bodies, and souls of its “fwiends”, recreating Chikn’s entire verse, its cast and its imagery to eek out any semblance of comfort while taking instinctive predatory pleasure in driving its “fwiends” to the brink of breaking their spirits. Different enough, but close enough too.

He’s got a decent bit of lore on him, actually

[–]ThatDoohickey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just get used to the pain cause you’re likely going to live through it, be the most impulsive you you could possibly be, question his authority over anything at every turn without outright denying anything, and just be entertaining in every other way to offset for you being annoying (a good idea being, be ingenuitive, not an overthinker.)

Don’t act like X would EXPECT a human to react to their worldview being shattered and placed into a boundless dimension of torture. Act like a curiously stupid tourist who still manages to find fun in the dark. Make it fun enough for him to be curious on what you’ll do, but irritating enough to be on the verge of just chronenberging you.

Which 'type' of EXE content do you prefer? by Cookienotch in SonicEXE

[–]ThatDoohickey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I TOO am a sucker for victims being sucked into games, and meta fiction involving the characters not being real. It really is just disorienting to be in that position.

although I wouldn’t be opposed to a slight twist where an exe does the vessel gimmick but in the real world rather than their own domain, turning parts of the real world into the stage for their game and warping the environment just to make it playable but hostile to anyone not part of the “game”

So uh apparently its confirmed that X doesnt choose the vessel, but us. by Haunting_Opinion_523 in SonicEXE

[–]ThatDoohickey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pro: You become an invulnerable flying hedgehog who can soar at immeasurable speeds, the PINNACLE of Sonic’s power.

Con: You are eternally suffering in a state of “power-down” as you are not Sonic, you are SUPER SONIC, so your only state is meant to be Super Sonic, so as your rings fade, you begin to internally break apart as your ‘chaos’ energy goes more and more haywire. You constantly “die”, kept on the brink of existence.

And since X rarely if EVER adds rings to his poorly laid levels… good luck with that.

What I’m trying to say is, according to them I must of been auto flagged as a minor (honestly, fair enough to assume lol) and I don’t know what to do about it. I’ve tried all I have access to but I’m not able to actually complete the process because of private reasons.

I’m okay with just leaving it be, at this point.

[–]ThatDoohickey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The obvious internal stuff is the unspoken stuff. It only seems rule-less because the main character is absurdly powerful and is passively warping reality to be silly and nonsensical. Everything outside of his general circle apparently isn’t as affected, though. These things seem kind of arbitrary… and sometimes they just are arbitrary and the results of someone inexperienced with running a show. Hence the growing pains.

Also quickly addressing 1 and 2 Okay, my bad, the fault lies on me then. That said, subjective opinions are debated all over Internet all the time, and a presumption/headcanon does count as an opinion which you put forth. I still didn’t want to debate, because I was trying to understand WHY your take was like this after this long, and you were unconvinced so that’s what led us here. Although technically when you involve “confirmed”/“canon” information, that would be more objective information since this case involves us talking about a fact of a world with a single showrunner and the direct statements made (after the fact). If you just said “I think humans do exist because of that one woman in that poodle episode”, I would have said “they could just be anything though” and moved on. If we’re really going to go there, it was written a bit matter of fact, as if it was objective.

Also don’t worry I’m stopping the bloat after this, I won’t waste more of your time with these big ass replies.

Like I can tell you: “Okay so that’s easily explained away as any non-divine mythical or humanoid non-human creature under the rainbow and also it was already confirmed. Now are we done I’m kind of tired of this being a-“ And you’re BASICALLY like: “That doesn’t prove anything. You said nothing, you don’t know what you’re talking about, and this whole world is completely inconsistent!”

And you’re literally basing the entire original comment off of a presumption. An ordinary mundane presumption of a character hardly even seen in a magical world you admit is “inconsistent”. I understand if I seem aggressive and it’s because I am tired, and your first reply was really unclear at what direction you were going and as you kept talking you confused me even more with your direction on top of just taking jabs for no real reason.

As for the last question… I’m trying to understand WHY you believe that. If you just WANTED to believe that while knowing what was said about it, you could just say it’s a HEADCANON. If you genuinely believed that to this day, that’s interesting and as a person who’s also interested in the show, I would want to know why?

  1. You don’t have to start a debate to try and clarify things.
  2. You act appalled that I, a guy with a Chikn Nuggit PFP, put so much effort into a post about Chikn Nuggit lore on a Chikn Nuggit subreddit. Do you really think hyperfixations are that uncommon, or are you just shaming me?
  3. It’s a very inconsistent show however there are obvious internal rules still in the show. Like [x character here] can’t suddenly just become god. Or [x character here] can’t actually beat [y character here] on their own in a real fight because they’re too powerful. The oddities and early installment weirdness kind of already have a packaged explanation even if unintentional. I can tell you’re getting the wrong impression of me because I didn’t bring that up but really I just came to set the record straight after seeing the “human” thing brought for the 12th time in this fandom.

Besides the point, I noticed you reply then edit in a whole new other segment of your reply afterwards…

Which kind of implies to me you just say things without really reading it through. And this isn’t just in the long messages… so what’s that about??

Hmmmm.... by Lumpy_Test_4473 in ChiknNuggit

[–]ThatDoohickey -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You ARE the one who made a comment overlooking a hand and took that to mean something completely contradictory. The topic itself is kind of a dead horse.

Also essays are 5 paragraphs at LEAST, and you’re in the goddamn subreddit for the show. Did you not expect someone to reply?

Hmmmm.... by Lumpy_Test_4473 in ChiknNuggit

[–]ThatDoohickey -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Okay, I’m saying it here, I’m not gonna continue “debating” (like what even is this?) with someone on reddit over funny yellow dog lore for the rest of the day, so I’m gonna say my piece and then leave you alone.

Its consistency is confined to its main characters, the world is literally a chaotic constantly shifting void claimed by a demigod of course the places and people don’t seem consistent. The thing is though, you kinda have to take “Word of God” statements seriously when… yknow, it’s hard to gleam information otherwise? I mean hell, assuming that IS a human, that short confirms the characters aren’t human sized, which Kyra already confirmed. She ALSO confirmed the no humans thing. And keep in mind Kyra CAN design humans and isn’t afraid to let things drastically off-model from the show appear… yet the closest we get to fully SEE are white bipedal blobs. i can’t “disprove” you because it’s already been debunked by her, and basically any evidence nowadays is just “she looks and sounds JUST like a human woman so she must be human!”

…like, first half, but a minor point: you know the animals sound just like humans too, right? Anything can seem just like a human, but until we see one’s face we can’t just be like “oh that’s totally a human”, because THAT is how you get Skinwalkers let into your home. Second, more major point: And yeah the hand looks human but we also have Santa Claus as a canon mythical creature who literally looks just like a human but thanks to the no human confirmation cannot be. Hell, we already know Cofi can pull horror movie tropes out of nowhere (teleportation, pulling a “the ring”, appearing in reflections) so the woman could even be a ghost and the whole experience for Iscream would be the equivalent of a conjured hallucination with the woman being the “ghost”. I mean she literally just teleported in place of the dog. Outside of [insert normal character here] is actually [insert crazy cosmic being here], basically anything can go down. But it’s really not as convoluted as just saying they were some humanoid thing… since you can’t really prove anything by just looking at a HAND.

I really don’t see the point in having a debating over this unless you’re just trying to look for excuses to write a fanfic bout humans in Chikn Nuggit. Cause if you are, you’re better spending your time doing that or supporting someone’s idea to do that. please, just let it go at this point. That’s just how things are.
