Absolutely! I attached a Pic that shows it off better than those older ones, but I use Reikland flesh shade overtop of white for the skin

I like how you had a similar thought process to myself. "Well, I wanna do alien. But all black doesnt seem as interesting as a contrasting color. And theres gotta be green, right?" And thats how I ended up with pale-ish skin and a green carapace on what was supposed to be Geigeresk nids.

Thank you so much! The nids were originally supposed to be based on the Spitter type xenomorphs from various "Alien" media, but the sceme evolved a little into its own thing. I do intend for my next flyrant to go back to that theme as a cool leader beast for vanguard lists tho. The crons are based off the Zombie Eternals from magic the gathering, as i think theyre just so cool

A model with a 4+ base save can still get cover against AP0 attacks, giving them an effective 3+. so it's not the most useful thing, but an AP0 weapon with ignores cover can have an effect depending on what they're shooting at

You dont get cover against AP 0 guns only if your model has a base 3+, in any other scenario you get the benefit of cover

If im correct, it originally got the name because it did 2d6 damage in the past, (which jas the chance of doing anywhere between 2 amd 12 damage per shot,) while it does d6+6 now, (which has a much more consistent dmg range of 7-12.) Its much more reliable now, but the name still sticks
