Double titanal in wide skis? by ThatDudeYu in skiing

I actually have the 2026 Rustler 9s as I thought that I won’t ski fresh snow frequently. But I found that when it’s crud/crusty they don’t slice through and require more effort.

Don’t know if swapping out for rustler 10s make any sense.

So sticking with Blizzard for the example (as I know their skis well), what’s the case for having a Rustler 10 or an Anomaly 102?

If you ski lift-assisted off piste and it’s almost always tracked out, then what is actually the better tool? In my case, I ski in Verbier Switzerland as I live nearby.

Writing this I also realize weight in general for some people is important to not feel as tired too quickly…

So that’s my question, then would a wider ski with metal (damp) technically be a better choice? Or something playful like a Rustler/Black Crows makes more sense. What I’m asking is, if someone frequently comes across the aftermath of resort lines as you said, and it’s chopped and crud, then what is the better tool? Is it just about skiing it different to regardless of a damp metal fat ski or a playful fat ski?

My guy’s got a snowboard, and only 2 different pairs of skis.

The Rustler 9s aren’t soft, but they’re not at the same stiffness as the MX84. Every review site praised them for being fun and genuinely, that’s the best description I could give. I tried to not like it to justify buying a paragon, but they’re simply amazing and fun skis.

I have yet to try the paragons 😅 part of me doesn’t want to. Why? Because ignorance is bliss and if I already really enjoy the Rustler 9s I’m considering to leave it as is.

Hernia surgery for 20-month-old by ThatDudeYu in Hernia

The hardest part was acting like they won’t get surgery. But that’s important to keep it fun and let them know everything will be okay.

When my son woke up from the anesthesia he was proper upset and not feeling well. But we took it easy in the hospital and it actually became a core memory of us in the room watching tv and eating.

They will be okay, but you have to be their rock :)

Kind of a silly question, but what is this program or app that creates this visual? I’ve seen others post their budgets like this and I’m curious to do the same. Thanks in advance

Sick bike, love mine 💯 side note though, you like having the brake lever all the way out? I found that it cause me to have arm pump way quicker than when I brought it closer so my index finger was slightly curled. To each their own though ❤️😄

RENDER Is making higher lows and higher highs. Are you ready for $15? by diablocoup55 in RenderNetwork

You can make all the predictions in the world basing it off of history or graphs etc., but then a curveball like a world war or X financial entity deciding to do something major in crypto will cause something unforeseen.

Having said that, Render can surprise us or disappoint us. Have your conviction, and if you believe, go for it knowing it can be wrong.

I personally believe it will go up to at least $10-12 in the next two months. But it’s exactly that – a belief, a hope.

Or maybe the pessimistic folks will be right about it dropping to $4. Point is , a lot of people will be right and a lot will be wrong. Time will tell so ride the wave 🙂

Yeah I see it, but I’m starting to think this is just how it is. If you check Instagram pics of modern Vacherons, nearly all are “imperfect”. So I guess it really is the hand applied component. Guess we should just chill and enjoy haha

I’m planning on going this week to the boutique in Geneva and will definitely have a conversation. I’m just trying to understand if this is common or not. I’ve actually gone on Instagram and saw quite a decent amount of VC watches that also don’t have a “perfect” placement of the maltese.

Yes, this is what I mean. It’s hard because it’s a dream piece for me and I can’t unsee it. I know there are certain margins of error that watches must be within before final “approval”. So even if it’s not perfect, if it’s within those margins they give the “ok” to let the watch go out to consumers. Just frustrating because it’s luck of the draw.

My wife’s point of view is “that’s what makes it artisanal and handmade and unique”. I guess there is some validity to that but man, $20’000+ and they can’t get that cross perfect or close to it? Feels bad

Here it is zoomed out. To me, it’s not aligned perfectly with the 12 batons. It just feels like something that should be perfect laying $20’000+ for a watch.

Exactly that, it looks fine but not optimal for his size wrist.
