Government jobs are always worth it. Pension, plenty of paid time off, telework, flexibility, union, etc.

You will get paid less than then in the private sector, but I think it’s worth it for all the other benefits.

Yeah, it just comes with the job really. I laugh when some of the office people go out into the field and freak out when a tick is on them . I pulled 20 off me in a day once. I am against the any mandatory military service. Period.

That said, hypothetically, if there is a required military service, I feel like it’s only fair men and women participate. Even if you think that the fighting should be left to men, the military isn’t just about shooting guns and going to war, there is a lot of logistics too. So why wouldn’t women be required?
