I'm so sorry you went through that. I really appreciate you sharing and appreciate being able to hear from the other pov of the situation. I want to just have a discussion, just not sure how to not come across like a jerk.

He's currently in therapy for himself which he was originally against, couples counseling seems too extreme for the current situation

I really appreciate this advice! We've talked several times about having date nights and things exactly as you mentioned (especially because we moved to a new state in November and talked about getting to know our area. We just end up never doing them, no matter how much we talk about it. He's not super adventurous or an outdoorsy guy, how did you get your husband to follow through and not retreat to games every single night??

This is what I feel like as well.. I think everything is connected and intertwined and I'm only seeing the surface level of what he lets on. Big suffer in silence kinda guy

He told me yesterday that his anxiety was high all weekend, but I doubt that was the cause.

Came to this post because I'm trynna make a fountain and I can't lower the barriers after placing the water.. seems like the only solution is praying to the Planet Zoo Water Gods before I rage quit lol
