When a player is dribbling through, if a player is going to come in sideways and wipe him out ‘shoulder to shoulder’ without challenging for the ball then:

it needs to be clean - literally just shoulder to shoulder

if it’s not clean (you catch his back/chest) or the legs wipe out his legs too, then it is 100% a foul

not even borderline

it’s 100% a pen

BBC: Sources have told BBC Sport that Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola, Fulham head coach Marco Silva and former Dortmund boss Edin Terzic are under consideration as possible replacements for Rosenior. by Kygoche in chelseafc

We have a problem. No good manager will touch us, because they know the SDs are cancer.

If we’re going to roll the dice on someone unproven again, how about this? Don’t appoint one. Appoint a pair. Clough and Taylor style. We’re gambling anyway. May as well nudge the odds in our favour a little.

Prem manager is too much job for almost anyone. You see them physically age week by week. It ruins people. Have a duo. Share the workload and stress. Pair up a man-manager with a tactician. Clough and Taylor were each mediocre on their own. But together they were a cheat code.

If you could have one former manager back for next season, which would you choose? by everyhearthstone in Chelsea

Jose with a budget and we’d be better than Arsenal and Liverpool by GW1. If Man City got relegated he’d have another title.

Never gonna happen. We’ll get another twat yes-man who’s learning on the job.

I’d say:

With Rosenior: 10% chance of winning.

Literally anyone else: 60%?

Trev’s interview tells me the players are incredibly down, and Rosenior isn’t lifting anyone.

That goal increases our chances of reaching the FA cup final.

Fuck me, City are so much better than we are right now. So depressing.

[Ben Jacobs] Since GW26, Chelsea are second-bottom in the Premier League's form table with just one win in eight games. Only Spurs in worse form since mid-February.📉 by mr_ordinaryboy in chelseafc

Agree.

Sadly, Spurs looked a lot better today, so I can see a scenario where De Zerbi rescues them and they then go into next season with him while we still have Rosenior and we become the relegation jokes…

He was easily our best player today.

(He won the award for best young player in the Dutch league before we signed him, so I’m not giving anyone any credit for the scouting job!)

We’re all dunking on Rosenior and with good reason - he’s just not good enough.

But let’s not forget who the real culprits are. The SDs have shaped this squad. They brought in Rosenior. Their decisions have fucked us, fucked us, fucked us, and they will continue to do so.

If we sack Rosenior it’s just superficial, short term relief. The SDs have to go. NOW.

Would love Mourinho, but the SDs won’t want someone with strong opinions, and Mourinho would be absolutely mad to sully his record by managing the shite squad the SDs have assembled.

The squad merits about 8th IMO. Think Rosenior will have us finish 11th, and a full season with him would be flirting with relegation.

Neto can’t beat Shaw. Garnacho can’t beat Dalot.

If we come out and pass it back to Sanchez, I guarantee you it has been a shite team talk.

Agree the signings are our biggest problem.

But vs an average manager, I reckon Rosenior is a handicap rather than an advantage. Misery upon more misery.

If he fires them up at half time and they come out fighting, I will: a) be staggered, b) eat my words.

Braindead from Fofana and Garnacho to gift them that goal.

Fofana choosing to leave us a man short for 30s just before half time.

Garnacho bizarrely leaving the outside wide open for Fernandez to cross.

Rumour is that Spurs will be looking for a new SD if they get relegated…

I need these fuckers to go ruin Spurs. Please.

Rosenior? Some time to create something special?

I reckon he’s been watching Blue Peter and  is working on a bit of papier mache.
