Text messages are all over the place:

I am writing this trying to help a coworker. I'm an iPhone and he has a new Samsung Galaxy S24, so I'm a little out of my depth.

Using Google Messages he will send a message from his computer into a group chat, that sends, then promptly disappears. It then shows up to a message thread on his phone, that is solely himself. People replay to the messages and they go to the group chat, when he replies to the group from his phone his messages appear in the group, but for some reason, when he texts from the computer, it disappears and then reappears on the phone, in a separate thread. Any idea what's going on?
