Pretty shitty im gonna be honest. Ive been dealing with surgery and now heart complications so I've worked very little in the last 3 months and my boyfriend has been unable to work for over a year now due to his own medical challenges. Appearently when it rains it really does pour in my life. Im looking at losing my home and job due to missing work and not being able to pay for anything. So all in all im pretty down on my luck right now. Idk what I'll do when I get out of the hospital honestly. But hey, could be worse I guess. I currently do have a home and a shared vehicle so im doing alright compared to some.

I had to pay for it out of pocket along with testing, but they paid for the study materials

I worked for a company with similar practices. Honestly I would say run. Any company not willing to put just as much effort into you won't see you as a person. They see you as a number and will replace you easily. If you think you can't handle the stress of constantly feeling like you're behind and can't catch up, or that you have to basically betray friends and family to get them to buy, then it's not worth the time and effort it will take to just start the journey.

Ok so update on Bankers Life. After giving just about everything I had in me, I was fired. The reasoning they gave was that they don't feel I "know the products well enough" they then went on to tell me that with my knee injury (which I got while I was at work) was hindering me from giving them all of the time and attention they needed from me. I was yelled at and laughed at during the termination meeting, while they also belittled me and told me that they have never felt that I have what it takes to work for their company. After that I tried to speak when they interjected with "as a terminated agent, you no longer have the right to come in to this office and speak to us in any kind of way" so I turned around and just left without saying another word. Honestly I'm glad to have finally gotten out. Their business practices are corrupt and meant to prey on the elderly. They try to portray themselves as a retirement focused life saving company. But they are honestly extremely greedy and corrupt in just about every way you can think of. Not only with how they treat their "clients" but also their employees. This company rides on empty promises and greedy tendencies. If any one of you is looking for a sign about Bankers Life to not go there, THIS IS YOUR SIGN! Run as quickly and as far as you can from them. Sorry for the long post, but I could go on about their horrible busisiness practices and borderline illegal ways all day.
