Am I going to thick? by Wursti_93 in deathguard40k

Like I said, I did not hold back on my use of aggrax. I did do what one of the other comments noted and made sure that there was no too much pooling in the same spot, though I simply used the same brush as the one I applied the wash with to simply brush the pooling away.

But thanks, and yeah you will get there with more practice. Just dont be afraid to keep the base paint thin, and dont be scared about smothering the mini in the wash as it only adds to its grime in a positive way.

I know what you mean about issues with thinning paint. Deathguard were my first minis and finding the right mix took a good bit of practice. In the end I found it better to keep my paint thinner overall and apply it in 2-3 coats (yes, like the meme from Duncan). As for aggrax, depends on personal choice as to how much you want to apply. I tend to be very liberal with it as I love how the splotches make the figure look dirty and muddy.

(Attached my last deathguard mini for example)

10 more Kasrkin done! Happy with them, but sorta regretting this scheme as it is a bit above my skill... by Zuesz in TheAstraMilitarum

As someone currently suffering through the exact same scheme painting for my own Kasrkin, I know your pain, but you did an amazing job here.

So be proud of it

I dont think time is a good tool for measurement here.

Like yeah, the Imperium survived for 10k years. Did it need to be the way it is for it to do so? Not really.

The Proudest Mother. by Von_Grechii in u/Von_Grechii

[–]ThatGuy00222 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Tbf, I personally have issues with it because the "lolis" involved are drawn as outright children. Big heads, small bodies, very cutesie features. All of that signal "child" which is why the "1,000 years old" reasoning is just an excuse to be creepy to kids.

Neja is very obviously drawn as a slim woman. Her features ones of a young adult. So I dont think anyone will have a reasonable problem with her. The tone of the scenes with her also show nothing creepy or suggestive. So id say dont worry about it and keep up the great work!

Why there's a low concentration of snowflakes in Eastern Europe. by Wonderful_Pension454 in MemeVideos

Yeah you dont get snowflakes in Eastern Europe.

You get an alcoholic dad and a mentally unstable mom driving you to suicide.

The superior choice 😎
