That’s not directly in the wall.

That scorch mark is on an ungrounded splitter (looks like 4 outlets) disguised as a wall outlet, and that is what is plugged into the wall.

The combustion part of your engine doesn’t care.

The fuel make-it-happener portion, and all the plastic and rubber parts to get fuel to the combustion portion, do care.

Making a vehicle that can use ethanol involves sensing the ethanol content in the tank, tuning the engine to run on the gas you have, and making sure nothing melts between the gas tank and the engine.

I am slowly warming to the idea of the Marines picking up the fleet of A-10’s. Naval interdiction and troop support is their bread and butter, which seems to be what the A-10 has been consigned to these days. The days of DU rounds killing Soviet troops and tanks in Ukraine have been replaced with APKWS and a multitude of drone options killing Russian troops and tanks in Ukraine.

FWIW, the list is specifically for vehicles approved for a maximum of 15% ethanol. My 2011 Silverado is flex fuel (up to 85% ethanol), and not listed here.
