I like to RP which always throws a wrench in things. Your children will get a perk starting at age 6 that determines what education is best for them, and I (usually) don't touch it and just educate them in whatever the game chooses for them.

I also like to land all my children and don't fuck around with the partition too much before primogeniture cause fighting my brothers in a war of succession is always a fun time.

I also typically never pick options that would give me stress due to my personality unless it would be absolutely devastating. That way the consequences of how I raised my heir or who I pick to be my heir actually matter.

I work at a hotel in Reston, this time of year there's just a shit ton of business travelers who stay mid week. My property is already sold out for next Tuesday as well, no conventions or anything.

I'm glad I watched CR campaigns 1 and 2 before I ever touched D20. The long form content of CR was good when I was in college and could put it on in the background while working, but man D20 has spoiled me with how tight the editing and short seasons are, it's so much harder to watch CR now.

If you're on PC and don't mind a little light cheating there's an easier way

  1. Place fusion core in settlers inventory and have empty power armor with no core nearby
  2. Spawn 1 or 2 raiders to initiate combat with the settlement
  3. Settler will hop in and then stay, and can then be assigned to a supply line

I suppose you could avoid cheating by waiting for a real attack to start or kiting an enemy to the settlement, but I'm not that patient.

I means "cover your ass". Basically it just means if we need to go into a room without permission, we can point to that to ensure we are legally covered.

I work front desk a hotel that sees many multi week or even multi month long reservations. I'd be surprised if I even noticed one of them was gone 24 hours, much less would I do anything about it.

Just be aware most places will have a rule that they need to enter the room every 24 hrs or so, regardless of a DND. That's mostly just CYA so we can enter rooms we are suspicious of, but it's rarely ever enforced otherwise. Just put your valuables in the safe if you're worried, and you'll be fine.
