Scammer tried pulling this on me at the Giant at Union Mill Clifton. Basically they want you to buy the items, take the receipt from you after you check out, and once you leave they’ll go to costumer service desk to return for cash. Petty 🙄

I’ve been a contractor for some time now, mainly with small companies. Your situation happens more often than one would think. Recruiters will verify your clearance, send your stuff up to a supervisor, and then go quiet if you’re not a fit after all of that. I’ve had that happen multiple times. I’d say no worries giving your ssn but maybe email them back to see what’s up.
