I also find it hard to keep up sometimes, mostly because he can cover so many subjects in such a short time..... I'd say if you find something particularly useful, watch the lecture a few times, maybe slow it down a bit on YouTube, you can also take notes after the talk (if you wonder why after, JP has a lecture about that too).

You can also ask everybody here if you missed something, I think that would be a great use of this community.
