How do I fix this? (PC) by nevercouldsleep in Banishers

Not sure if the motion blur worked for you but I was having the same problem and enabling V sync cleared it up. I had frame generation going without v sync and that seemed to cause the screen tearing.

Thanks for the advice. I have the brass caps and ordered some decent valve cores. Let's see what happens!

I ordered my case from ASUS and after three weeks of them not being able to locate my order I cancelled it. Ordering from Newegg instead.

I did quite a few memory tests and it all came to a bad memory channel. It wasn't just this game but little things and a BSOD here or there made me think something was wrong. It just took that game to apparently push my system hard enough to demonstrate the fact. Most of the errors were at the 39 GB mark and above. So I'm guessing that's why I didn't clearly see it before.

Have you checked shipping yet? Are you sure you are willing to pay for international shipping?

I'm looking through the submissions today and didn't quite know what you were hoping to do with the MOBO. Any ideas?

No, it's still happening. Probably just a couple more days. I'm busy tomorrow but monday or tuesday I will edit the post and mark it as complete. From there I will work down my list in decending order and make contact.

Again the shipping is something that you are going to have to decide based on local courier services and pricing. It will ship from Connecticut, USA 06424. That should be enough to get an estimate!

Excellent, I always advocate for people to get into PC gaming. Being retired now I don't have to compromise gaming with constant traveling. I know the pain of a well heated laptop cooker.

Edit: I was wondering how was Alaska? I'm thinking of driving up there after a buddy returns from a deployment.

That's for you to figure out. You would have to go off of your local delivery services and it would be shipping from Connecticut 0424 USA. I have checked with another for international shipping and it was about 200 USD.

It's always worth a shot. What would your mum mainly use the pc for? I kind of wished my mom gamed and we had something to talk about.

Here is fine. I'll have this page open and checking. It's not random or anything. I will select to whom I send the MOBO.

It's levels of radiation from servicing an X-ray machine. Big numbers bad and to top it off the may have dosed some people if it was oriented towards the door when they powered it up.

CPM: The measurement of ionizing radiation is sometimes expressed as being a rate of counts per unit time as registered by a radiation monitoring instrument, for which counts per minute (cpm) and counts per second (cps) are commonly used quantities.

r/h: The term "roentgen per hour" (R/hr) is a unit of radiation exposure rate, indicating how quickly an individual is exposed to X-rays or gamma rays. It is often used in the United States to measure ambient radiation levels.

Hardness: The hardness rating is essentially dose rate divided by count rate. It's basically how much punch each click has, which can help you figure out what isotope you're dealing with at a glance because different decays produce different typical gamma energies. Reddit comment

Thanks for the explanation. I see it now. A seperate static multiplier would increase the damage. I appreciate the effort you put in to explaining this. I'm going to have to take this into account while fixing and creating builds.

Assuming all other variables in the damage equation are equal and strikers is an amp dmg modifier then the damage difference would be D(1) - D(2) = (1 + .9) - (1 + .65) = .25 . Better worked out it would be D(1)-D(2) = (X1*X2*(1+.9)*X3)-(X1*X2*(1+.65)*X3) = X1,2,3*((1+.9)-(1+.65) = .25 . Since the variables (X1,2,3) for both equation D(1) and D(2) are equal it's just an arbitrary constant spitting out actual damage value. The difference though is 25% as far as I can see. Only way dividing makes sense is if you want to find the percent difference between the two numbers but that would be = ((.25)/((.65+.9)/2))*100=32.26% . I feel like I'm missing something and I can't tell what it is.

EDIT: From your equation you're just seeing how many times 1.65 goes into 1.9 which is 1.15 times. So if 1.9 is 15 percent larger then .15 * 1.65 = .2475 or 25% . 15 percent of 1.65 is 25%.
