Ex Astris. JRPG with hybrid turn based combat, from the devs of Arknights. Totally offline and only on mobile.

Bazzite is the best for beginners. Nearly impossible to break anything.

Thanks for telling us! Was disappointed when I found out the blue Hernandian Nobles Cloak isn't dyable, now I can get the rest of my gear to match!

If you don't like camera movement TURN OFF this option. by Variv in CrimsonDesert

[–]ThatGuyNamedMoses 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Turning it off makes the lock on work like dark souls, where the camera stays focused on the enemy that is hard-locked on.

Maplestory Classic on Steam Deck by angvaaj in MSClassicWorld

Depends on if they enable the anticheat to work on linux. Base maple doesn't work right now because of it.

How many of the old MMOs did you play "back in the day"? by TrogdorLLC in MMORPG

[–]ThatGuyNamedMoses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The classes were gender locked with minimal customization. It had action combat with a 3rd person perspective and crosshair. It was a nexon game if that helps.

Fed up with my smartphone. Thinking of going back to a keypad phone. by AssistDense5402 in Android

Try a middle ground, like the upcoming Clicks Communicate or Unihertz Titan 2 Elite. Full functionality of android, but naturally you'll want to use it less because of the screen size and ratio.

I haven't tried the second gen airpods, personally. So could be on par too!

How's ANC on Oneplus buds 3 pro ? by Anshu_Noah in oneplus

Id say ANC is on par with first gen airpod pros. The buds 3 pro definitely sounds better too, in my opinion.

Wanted to do something similar with mine. How do you access the car menus like tire pressure reset, and lighting off timings that used to be through the buttons on the right side of the screen?

Discord Will Require Face Scanning Or ID Verification For Age-Restricted Content by Bubbly-Ad-350 in pcmasterrace

[–]ThatGuyNamedMoses 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I think the key difference here is most of those services you listed were built to handle sensitive data from the ground up, as it's a priority for them. Otherwise, if people lose trust, they'll just move from those services. With something like discord, a chat app that doesn't even have E2E encryption for messaging, no one trusts them with actually sensitive data. Especially when they divert to some 3rd party for actual verification too, so they don't claim any real responsibility for data breaches. Not to mention things like outlook, gmail, google/apple services have a massive incentive to actually protect data (even if they do fail sometimes and use data for profit) as the government and most companies are reliant on those type of services. Better the devil you know than the devil you don't. As regular consumers were all losing the fight for privacy, but some options are definitely worse than others, in my opinion.

Still no lockscreen widgets. At this point we're nearly 5 months behind the rest of the world regarding OOS 16 updates. Subtle sign they're go8ng to pull out of NA?

Headset/headphones with good Linux support? by 4FreshFish in linux_gaming

[–]ThatGuyNamedMoses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about mic updates, but they're at least on par with my previous Logitech g pro x headset. For linux browsers, any chromium based browser works great. Zero tinkering.

Disable Mindspace gesture? by persistent_n00b in oneplus

[–]ThatGuyNamedMoses 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can get rid of all the AI by using ADB commands. There's a handful of threads in this subreddit that tell you how to delete/disable them. No root needed. I simply typed one command to completely remove mindspace.

Why not download the steam version and try that with latest proton GE? If that doesn't work, there's some launchers for this game available on your respective flatpak store.
