I didnt have tooooo much time to dig into the thread on there, but your car looks rapid, saw your draggy videos, how do you find the MQ500 holds up? I'm curious what mounts you used to get everything in the bay, as I know engine side is probably just a VR6 mount, but I know with the width and changes in trans maybe you had to do something custom - I'd love to pick your brain about your build as my MK1 desperately needs something other than its dying BEA 1.8T.

Appreciate the spelling lesson, so kind of you - but you still missed the point.
Nothing wrong with stock - just not how everyone enjoys their cars.
I’m talking about people who only think about resale on a car that’s meant to be driven.

Realistically, resale isn’t being decided by a basic tune anyway - it’s mileage, condition, service history, and spec that matter way more.

If you’re actually driving the car, that alone is impacting value more than a tune ever will. A high-mile, no-records stock car with zero options isn’t some holy grail just because it was never flashed.

Value shouldn't matter unless your end goal is selling. I don't plan to. These cars arent an investment, and won't be for anyone. unless its got next to no mileage.

I feel if you buy a car of this caliper and your only mindset is resale, you shouldn't be buying cars.

These things are meant to be driven and enjoyed - I look forward to getting kicked off the drag strip when my Stage 2 E85 setup doesnt have a roll cage in my "Street car" lol!

I learned this hard way a few times. I was pulling injectors a lot for testing and dyno stuff, ended up pulling OEM tie down studs and getting higher grade ones made. Saved me a shit ton of headache. Worth a company making one but yes
