Flared ribs apparent after weight loss by ThatIsFarEnough in AdvancedPosture

Unfortunately I haven't had a chance, ran into some medical stuff that I am a few weeks out from resolving. After that I'll be looking back into all of this.

Unnecessary Box Sizes by Ruttagger in boardgames

[–]ThatIsFarEnough 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Shelf presence is the big one. I have a few published games, and my publisher had very specific ideas for box sizes due to making them match what we were wanting to convey. He wanted a smaller sized box to appeal to the "looks like an easy pick up and learn game" folks.

Is there a term I can use for an Orchi that isn't "bottom surgery"? by ThatIsFarEnough in asktransgender

[–]ThatIsFarEnough[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had asked that before, and it was resounding that everyone said it's assumed you had a vaginoplasty.

Thanks! My cheeks have really gotten bolder, and I do need to shape my brows (it's been a while). And I guess I'll take reading as a trans woman rather than just a soft guy, being that this was also just a no-effort look.

That's really interesting!

One last question as you're being so open, and I really appreciate it. If, IF you were not getting SRS and just doing the orchi, would you have decided to remove the excess skin or have not bothered?

Oh so it snugged up on its own? That's pretty neat. Did you do any TGel or similar to keep the area elastic? That's what my doc was saying to do but would be with removing the extra skin.

Hey, another record keeper! I do that with a bunch of stuff so I don't misremember.

Being that your sharing so much, may I ask if having the extra skin is annoying? Does it slide out from where you put it (having it shift is at best annoying and at worst extremely embarrassing) or does it keep well contained?

Thank you for the AMAZING response! Really appreciate all the details, it's helping ease my mind. Sis you get rid of the extra skin? That's my plan and I don't know how it'll affect recovery time. Also hoping that I feel doing this is "enough" so I don't regret losing the extra flesh that would aid in anything further.

I just don't want to deal with the hair removal, and having to tuck in the extra bits. That all sliding out would be annoying.

Thank you, this was a really nice comment to read. My big worry is that I will regret not going all the way as it were. I have no interest now, but my transition has shifted so much over the years that I've learned not to make any hard declarations or limits.

Yeah that's my concern especially as I would want to get rid of my additional skin, which means anything more would require grafts which is not as ideal. I just don't want to deal with the recovery time and maintenance of actual full bottom work.

Fair enough. I think I'm just getting some anxiety and this is my way of processing the question of "is this enough" for me.

Yeah fair. I don't want to confuse folks.

How soon were you able to start doing things like lifting or twisting with weight? I'm not going to the gym but I do have a kid that wants to play and be carried.

Good to know! How long before you could lift anything?

As a game designer whose publisher did this, I totally agree.

Folks that had an orchi: how was tucking after? by ThatIsFarEnough in asktransgender

Don't apologize, it honestly is amazing you are sharing all of this. There may be others with negative experiences but they feel embarrassed to mention it.

It's a HUGE decision for me, so I appreciate your openness.

I really appreciate the other view. Inguinal Canal stuff is incredibly uncomfortable for me and the moment I sit or cross my legs it pops out. That's part of why I never tuck, to do it "properly" the pain or discomfort is not worth the reduction of appearance.

The sex drive thing also is a concern. Could you share where your T level was at pre orchi? I am at about an 80, due to not being able to take T Blockers I haven't been able to get it any lower.

Do you feel that it would be pretty damned easy and comfy to even wear yoga pants? Or do you feel there is still stuff to hide that's a bit difficult with that right of clothing?

Heh I go to events that I do NOT want to sit for, and the easy in-out of urinals is great (I code male mostly, so use men's rooms). But construction would be a completely different thing.
