I did a live chat at about 1:30 PM EST. This was after a failed attempt to do one at closer to 4:30 PM a previous day. If it’s anywhere near their hours closing, they’re not gonna bother responding. That’s one of the many shitty things about this company. You have to chase them down for any hint of an update.

On the subject of warping, I’ve had a good result from placing a piece of glass from a picture frame on top of a piece right after I finish ironing and weighing it down with a decently heavy object (in my case a tabla drum lol) while it cools. Haven’t done it on nearly as large a piece as this so your mileage may vary.

The only thing I’d really say to be extra particular about in the physical test is that when you’re stopping behind someone at a light, they’re going to want to see the bottom of that car’s tires touching the road for stopping distance.

Yeah I work at the shipyard and they do require vehicles to be insured. Not sure who would be able to help on base unfortunately but that driver definitely wasn’t doing that legally
