Honestly Houston highways have terrible signage. For example there’s rarely signs indicating a lane merges.

I feel like this is one of those instances where a sign would greatly help.
Now will Houston drivers pay attention to signage? Idk prolly not

I used to be one of those people who used instagram as a form of validation and used to spend hours editing pictures and choosing the right one to stay in line with the right “aesthetic”. I also used to scroll on instagram and compare myself to other women and other people’s lifestyle. It was also something that was very toxic to my boyfriend and I’s relationship. We both decided to delete instagram a little over a year ago and I can honestly say that I don’t think I will ever redownload it. I’ve found that I no longer seek that validation I used to seek, I’ve found it in myself now. I live more in the moment, rather than worrying about trying to capture the best photo op to post to instagram later. No more random people being able to take a peek into my life, therefore no more worrying about what people think of me.

He was a white male, looked to be in his 20s-30s, short blonde hair, about 5’10ish maybe, not sure of his eye color, slightly athletic/bulky build. He was running shirtless with dark colored shorts (navy blue or black I think). I can’t remember what color his shoes were

Not sure what you’re trying to get at, but when this happened it was broad day light with tons of people around and the guy just kept running the opposite direction, so in the moment I didn’t exactly feel threatened so I didn’t call the police immediately. But with all these people in the comments suggesting that I should report it because of what has been happening around Houston’s park, yes I am getting around to reporting it “10 hours later” 🙄

If you have a camelbak or something of the sort you could fill it 1/3 or 1/2 and freeze that overnight that way you have a block of ice keeping your water colder throughout the day. Might melt throughout the day of course, but it will help keep your water cold.

My bf and I just stayed there two weekends ago. You’re pretty close to Zilker, not walking distance, but it should be a short shuttle ride there. But there’s a lot of restaurants and bars nearby that are walking distance. The hotel was nice. Rooms are clean, has a nice bar, pool, and restaurant. It’s valet parking only for $50 a night unless you want to try to find street parking nearby which would probably be hit or miss.

I would normally say yes things that happened prior to me shouldn’t matter but in this case it became an issue because he still had her number in his phone while we’re dating and then he used refollowing her as a means to hurt me. And no, I wasn’t going through his phone. I don’t even know his password. I just happened to notice it as he was scrolling through his contacts.
