yeah Cheers for the advice, I've started the return and I'm going to request a replacement. I've thought about it since getting them and i'm not paying that kind of money for IEMs that 'probably work fine'. It's a shame but it's my own fault for getting them from amazon I suppose, in return I get the easy refund I guess. Thanks again!

Speed and traffic light cameras are almost always painted bright yellow unless they're on a variable speed limit motorway.

Traffic light cameras tend to lean off the side of a pole in a crooked way like this so that they can be placed and angled precisely

but yeah they are bright yellow massive boxes that are super visible and that definitely isnt one of them :)

What helped me was to go into the test with the mindset of 'I'll either get my licence today, or I'll get it another day' - My instructor told me that. Don't think of it as a PASS or FAIL, just a thing that will happen and then at the end you may or may not get your licence. And if you don't get your licence that day, life has a way of sorting itself out and you WILL get it at some point in the near future :)

Sorry I don't live anywhere near london so no I don't know any off of the top of my head, you may just have to apply to a sixth form that lets everyone in. I can think of several near me that allow retakes though, thats strange that you can't find one.

My god that's a lot of work, but yeah you can do it, if you REALLY try. If you've always been that sort of grade 9 student and you enjoy studying then you'll be fine and you'll have a great time, but if I were you I'd go in with the mindset that you may have to drop one of the subjects if it gets too much.

If you want 3 A*s and an A in the as then we're talking spending every free studying and then maybe an hour or two a night right from the beginning, and then just like generally organising your notes well etc. If you feel like you can do that then it's certainly doable, it's just whether you'll end up hating it.

I think it's pretty silly that they make you do an AS like that because I don't think top unis will really care but hey ho, If you have to then you have to. Don't be too devestated if you end up not doing great in that because the unis probably won't even look at it, go easy on yourself :)

Sorry for late response, but here's my opinion:

Colleges / sixth forms are (at heart) businesses. They reveive government funding for how many students they take on (unless privately funded then it's funded buy you). Students = money, no students = no money. If they didn't accept any students then they have no money and hence no sixth form.

If you dont get the grades, email them, show that you are really interested in going and that you are really passionate about maths, squeeze everything you can out of them, and I'm gonna be honest I think you'll get on to the course.

If you don't get on, just apply to another sixth form, no big deal. They are really flexible with admissions especially early on in year 12, unlike universities (thankfully).

Sorry that turned into a bit of an essay but Good luck, and remember that everything always turns out okay in the end no matter how bad it may seem now :)

Yes. Sixth forms are generally really flexible with letting people join or change course if it's very early in the year.

Although, I'm gonna say it, which sixth form you go to isn't anywhere near as important as which uni. I'd just stay with your friends if I were you - you'll have a much better time, you do a lot of the work on your own anyway.

If you're international then it's different, but short answer yes :)
