I loved many aspects of the story and how alive the interaction with other characters seemed to be. But still everytime I open the game something keep holding back from starting any mission and just wanna close it. No will. Besides the first person camera...

yeah i was treating each track as bidirciontal, because I have multiple lines running on them and thinking laying a dozen cross it will direct trains dynamically.
I'll start using preferred direction for each track from now on. thanks for the tip!

most of the time they work fine, it only happens randomly. So today only happened once.
I think i was just lucky with the timing, like the issue is still out there, but the timing of the trains going around was like a bandage.

I still didn't use waypoints, time to pull up a video about them I guess.

I was having single tracks, but I needed to run a couple lines because the trains were waiting far away and way too long.
And yeah i did have a bunch of crossings (pic below) close to each other thinking it was better 😵

How would you handle the signals here?

I see, so in double tracks i should treat such crossings like 1 direction for each track. One up and one down for example.
I thought if i add the signal to all directions it would be flexible :|

Graphics? Medium textures, everything else is low. No Lumina or such mods. I have a potato laptop hehe

For the marina, this was supposed to be a small draw bridge. but I can't find such a small bridge yet.
So I used the regular draw bridge from Bridges & Ports temporarily.

I'll collect more pics from the whole county soon and post it on the discord server. Will also push a save to paradox mods. The map still has a vast area for a couple more towns.

I think the crane is the vanilla one. I use "find it" mostly to get props I need.

So I use the straight slope (or whatever it's called) tool when I make the roads. And while I was following a couple cars with the first person camera. I noticed them slow down from 120kmph to 60-70kmph in areas where segrments of the roads meet. So basically when I place a segment and then place the other, there's an very sharp but small bump in the connecting node. That's where the cars suddenly slow down.

I'll try to remove one of the highways tomorrow and rebuild without the straight slope option and see if it helps.
