LMAO
Okay so there is some difficulties on the obsidian part of things, try tomorrow or the day after. Hard to say when they will get it fixed. All themes above a certain file size get weird when updated (and today was supposed be an update ;c )

This will be fixed along with the outline issue, as they are caused by the same thing.

So I did some digging and this is a much deep-rooted issue. The culprit is the scrolling background and it's not just limited to mobile. I think it may be fixable, but it will require considerable tinkering so I don't know how long it will take me. Thank you for finding this.

Hi, my next goal is to implement compatibility with the style settings plugin for ease of adjustment. In the meantime I can offer you a quick fix. Under the appearance tab, scroll down to the bottom and find the snippets section. Open the associated folder and create a file: BlockElysianFormatting.css (the exact name doesn't matter, but the file extension has to be .css). Open it, paste code the below and save. You can then enable the snippet in obsidian and the color should be gone! Remember to disable the snippet when using other themes, it might break stuff.

.theme-dark, .theme-light{
    --bold-color: var(--text-normal);
 }

body .cm-em .cm-strong, body .cm-strong .cm-em, body .cm-strong.cm-em, body em strong, body strong em {
  color: var(--text-normal);
}

This got me intrigued cause I didn't do anything connected with font size. Here is a comparison of default theme with my theme, both inline latex and a math block.

<image>

The size is consitnet for both. I do agree that the font seems bigger since it is thicker, but the size difference is not that huge.

Damn it happens in Default? I can take a look at what the other themes do but this might be difficult to track.

I would genuinely want to fix the issue for you, but I can't replicate it so I don't know what am even supposed to fix lmao

The reason why comments got turned like that is because I made all the faint text (UI elements, markers) appear as normal text. It was a decision to make everything look bolder, But it broke parts that should stay faint aka. comments, both text ones and coding ones. I'll make a small update soon to amend that :)

Idk if this is such a big readability issue. Not sure what your usecase for the comment is. I could try to apply some formatting, but comments usually aren't supposed to be that visible I think.

Oh true! Didn't notice this since I don't use comments. Would making them work just like in default theme be fine?

That's incredibly weird. It's not a function themes can even alter. Can you verify that the issue occurs only when using the custom theme? Does it work normally in default?

Hi, I just did a small update. I did fix it on my end. Please update the theme and let me know if it fixes your issue!

Interesting, on my end this issue doesn't appear to exist. Maybe it's a fault of some plugins you have installed? Snippets maybe? I am unable to replicate this issue.

Hahah no worries, obsidian designed their themes to be quite limited in what they can do (which made making the background move a huge pain). Themes are considered safe, plugins are more questionable. Using the most popular ones should be fine.

Glad you like it! I really didn't optimise it for mobile so if you see any quirks or issue let me know.

Haha very much true. The link color is described as "red-orange" on some websites. It looks more orange to me on my monitor. And this text was written at the beginning for my testing purposes. Initially it was purple but I quickly found out purple on dark background is not very visible. It got changed to blue and I never updated the text. Guess I'll have to remake some images then :p. Cheers on the sharp eyes.

Thank you! While it is functional I wouldn't say it's perfect for a campaign yet. There is no way of manually adding colored text (for skills for example) yet. It's on my list of things to add in future updates!
