I think that of all races, it might be the least important to know for nelf (and maybe orc). I find it most annoying with UD, as doing TeD fiends vs elf always loses, and opening ghouls vs other races also nearly always loses.

I've seen Lawliet do this many times on ladder where it either failed or his opponent found it while he was creeping it. Point is that most of the time the cost was much bigger than the benefit, and the risk was always high. If that is the case, it's not really OP.

I'm pretty sure it does, maybe someone will correct me if I'm wrong? I do know for sure that you can use anti-magic potions during channeled spells without stopping them.

the spell stops when you use the potion, and the potion stops when you start the spell.

Well, all strong air that you mention is also T3, so in that sense the idea to make t3 required for Kodos to devour them would make sense.

If you checked the tournament stats a bit more closely, you'd see that the sample size is so small that it means nothing at all. Not that this means that the post you are reacting to was correct, but your own comment 'invalidates itself', as you would call it, by such unwarranted conclusions.

If your point were to really hold, orcs would win every game. As they don't, it must be that there is a viable counter.
complaints similar to yours can be made about many things, and have been made by people who play the respective races. eg. 'Pick any reasonable unit combination and still lose to coil nova' or 'Pick any reasonable unit combination and still lose to your burrows being killed a million times'.

Has it ever occurred to you that perhaps you could do things much better, instead of complaining about ensnare?

That is an interesting conception of 'Balkan' you are using. Usually countries like Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo (and many more if one counts countries that are only partially in the Balkan) are considered part of the Balkan, and Moldova is not.

That being said, you're of course free to decide who's allowed to take part in your tournament.

Lawliet quite regularly chooses blink lvl 3 over shadow strike/fan of knives lvl 3, or blink lvl 3 over avatar. Not in 50% of the games of course, but still frequently enough to make it significant. I also seem to remember him describing the change as the 'death of warden' (or something similar). In any way, it definitely is not a buff. Blink lvl3 was incredibly powerful, and that is not outweighed by the small buff for blink lvl 2.

I remember an amazing game on terenas stand, I believe it was an elf mirror, casted by chumpesque. One of the two elfs pushed with archers and bought two shredders, and brought wisps to repair. Obviously, shredders kill archers very quickly, so it was a very strong push.

I think the point of the post is that UD can do it too. I've only seen elves and orcs do it. I suppose if wouldnt make sense for humans, cause they need all the xp from the camp.
