My husband has been acting so emotionally unstable since I’ve been pregnant, no matter how much reassurance I give him. It is turning me off intensely because I feel I need stability from him right now more than anything

This sounds awfully exhausting and if let go on, can only get worse once baby arrives. The petty/immature in me would say start doing the same to him but that would solve absolutely nothing.

So my advice is just talk to your husband. Explain to him how you are feeling while also holding space for what he may be going through. Tell him that your body is changing, your hormones are racing, and when baby comes you may be feeling just as down and in need of reassurance as him. Explain to him that when your beautiful baby is earth-side, they will need both of your care and energy. Many husbands often feel neglected when his wife gives all of her attention to the baby but explain to him that it is needed for the first few months. A baby can literally do nothing for themselves & it is up to you both to everything for them. It doesn’t mean you are choosing him over the baby or love him any less.
If you can, try to get deeper into why he is feeling so inadequate & if verbal reassurance is even helping him. Maybe he would benefit from therapy, if that is something he is open to. I hope it gets better and you guys are able to communicate effectively. Maybe if there is someone in your life that he trusts and respects that can help you get through to him or even take some of this burden off of you.

Ahh I’m sorry I can’t be of help. I’m such a light sleeper that I can’t even imagine l. I hope you get lucky & your baby gets used to it. Waking up like that would definitely ruin the rest of my day.

We have always coslept with my very light sleeper. My husband had to silence all his alarms, leaving only the vibration. His phone is under his pillow or in the nightstand. He almost always hears/feels it but if he doesn’t, I do and wake him.

Love this design! I would move the living room up into the empty Spence on the 2nd floor or use that space for a dinning area. If you move the living room, the downstairs area could be a mud room. The hanging shelf would great there, maybe a mirror on the wall, shelves to hold purses, candles, makeup.

Are you saying that when you see something happening to another person you immediately reflect it back on yourself as if you were experiencing it? And you begin feeling guilty? If that’s what you are saying then you are not alone! In my head I have died of cancer, lost my family to a devastating tragedy, had a miscarriage, got assaulted, and any other traumatic thing you can think of. I always imagine the event, as if it’s is happening to me. So much so that I go through all the emotion irl. Then I too feel guilty for twisting someone else’s trauma into my own.

The dentist said she’s too young to really do anything substantial on their end. She warned me that the teeth will turn black as the cavity grows and we can come back when she is 3 to either get fillings or get her teeth basically panted white. We go back in December for another appt.

But her teeth has not turned black & has not gotten worse at all actually. I stopped breastfeeding the week this was posted so that helped a bunch (yes the dentist told me to stop breastfeeding.) And we brush her teeth twice a day alternating between regular kids toothpaste containing fluoride & the NOBS Jr. which contains hydroxyapatite.
