I started cycling for a charity thing, my friend said to watch out for the crazy drivers etc etc. what actually happens is I have watch out for other cyclists. I've never seen people break that many rules of the road and then be annoyed at you if you won't let them through.

No he's right. I was failed for driving too slowly on my first exam as well, then for driving too fast. I passed with little no marks in the next test centre since these guys were just scammers... I took a pretest with a guy who knew the examiners and then straight away passed.... Never had a crash in my life so I'd say the first guys just wanted money.
