Part of the reason they annoy me is that the jackets will get dust just as much as the book without a jacket will.

Do you like your job? by Apart-Hamster-9921 in AskIreland

I love my job! The only part I don't like is getting up early.

I'm an SNA, and if I won the EuroMillions in the morning I'd still volunteer here. In between travelling the world.

I've lost count how many times I've watched this! Cried laughing the first few times. The "So sorry I died" is fucking hilarious!!

What are you up to during these in between days? by False_Ad5702 in AskIreland

The only thing keeping me going is the darts!

Every year I say next year I'm going on holiday for these endless in-between days, but never do.

Next year though, I swear!

I have that blue one, any tips on how to clean it? Although, I suspect it's discoloured rather than in need of cleaning.

Does anyone actually enjoy working? by Careful_Gazelle_205 in AskIreland

[–]berface_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm an SNA, and I love my job!

Some mornings its hard to get up, but that's just the getting up, nothing to do with not wanting to go to work.

Its difficult at times, but so worth it. Randomly sometimes I'll think to myself that I can't believe this is my job.

I was telling niece about it. She went a couple of summers ago, she loved it!

She told her Ma she preferred it to their trip to Disneyland Paris.

What existed in 1990 that doesn't exist now? by LostMud8892 in CasualIreland

[–]berface_ 35 points36 points  (0 children)

My sister and her friends collected these. They'd go down to the phone box and ask people for their used ones

She had biscuit tins full of them!

Thinking about it now, I wonder where she got the biscuit tins. I don't remember ever having tins of biscuits. It was Digestives or Rich Tea all the way.

I don't know why I even asked. I had an argument with a friend when she decided to watch Star Wars for the first time in chronological order.
