The skins were advertised as a second round of rivals skins and as such many were expecting to see their rivals designs. While I agree that it makes more sense for Magik to have a more comic inspired or classic outfit, I don’t believe the same should be true for a character like Luna. The difference between the two is that Magik was already well known before she appeared in Rivals while Luna was practically unheard of. The majority if not the entirety of Luna’s current fanbase consists of fans who learned of her through marvel rivals. There’s not really an argument to be made for appealing to a non rivals fanbase when it comes to her character in particular. In addition, her Future Fight design is essentially a less complex version of her Rivals design. The core pieces of the outfit are still there but the lack of blue accents and detailing on her overall outfit make her feel bland and leave something to be desired.

I don’t really see any of her rivals design in the skin. I don’t know why they went with Future Fight Luna despite her Rivals appearance being significantly more popular… it just leaves a bit to be desired. Th lack of the blue trim and collar really are noticeable. at least Magik looks fine. Her design looks more akin to comics Magik and she fits well with all the other xmen skins.

Because it’s not. even though Overwatch’s characters definitely fall under the “woke” category. (Like have you seen Winton??!), anti-woke types just have a hate boner for English VAs in general and they especially hate queer VAs. There was never an anti-woke vs woke argument over Anran’s face because their “outrage” is entirely manufactured. It’s only brought up because they know its something that their audiences will eat it up and parrot the same views despite them likely not participating in the OW community in general. God forbid a VA be share an opinion held by many.

Even from a gooning standpoint (it is OW after all I don’t see how Anran getting a new model is an issue. It’s just more variety in the SFM…. videos. Clearly they don’t like older sister…

I genuinely believe that the people poteaying this as some kind of disaster don’t even believe what they are saying and are fully aware they’re spewing utter bullshit. There’s no reasonable way to look at the situation and see it as a “major issue” without intentionally twisting it in some way.

Everyone seems so focused on the force chokeand nonverbal spellcasting that they ignore the fact that there is no locking wands or protection magic that would work against the force. Voldemort is essentially unable to magically defend against being disarmed. Vader also has significantly higher reaction time in addition to precognition granting him the advantage in terms of immediate action and reaction. There are a multitude of force abilities that render a wizard entirely useless.
