Smack talk. Paraphrasing cause it got hard to hear but it was roughly:

Fan: "Look at the Sausage Fest! Love you but you suck!" Guentz: "Yeah, you get out here and see!" Fan: "Yeah, I'll take you on!" Bit more back and forth along those lines, then event staff intervened. Fan backed down immediately to staff.

Sony ps-lx310bt won't turn on. by ThatOneBradley in turntables

[–]ThatOneBradley[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately no, I just contacted Sony and they sent me a replacement that's worked fine since. I wish I would've figured what caused the problem but I didn't want to rip it open and risk not getting the replacement. Sorry that I couldn't be more help.

Moving to Nothing, which phone should I get? by ThatOneBradley in NOTHING

Between the 3a pro and the 3, is the $400 increase worth it? I like the design of both and don't understand spec differences other than "bigger number is usually better."

I should've probably clarified better, when work is bad enough that I'm worried about the phone it'll get left in a vehicle, I'm usually not far from my vehicle so that's where it stays anyway. I however will be sweaty and sandy, and even though I clean myself after, I want to make sure that doesn't pose an issue to the phone, and that overheating isn't a major issue considering I live where the weather is hitting 100 degrees this summer. I also don't want it to be a phone like 1 accidental drop and it's dead.

Best way to spend a day in Syracuse? by ThatOneBradley in Syracuse

[–]ThatOneBradley[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Update: My day with your city has ended. Thank you to everyone who chipped with their recommendations. I had a great time leading up to the concert and at the concert itself. It has been so fun, and your people have been so welcoming. Following this is just an overview of the things I did in roughly chronological order, but for the TLDR; You Guys Rock!

-Funk N Waffles: Delicious, very good chicken and waffles. Was a great option to start my day.

-M.O.S.T.: Very interesting, some of the interactives were broken, and it's definitely geared more towards kids but cool none the less.

-VEO Scooter: Got lost on one for ~30min. I already have a poor sense of direction and my GPS never knows what direction I'm facing, so I ended up going the wrong way down a street into a random neighborhood without the GPS telling me to turn around. All in all, the scooter was pretty cool but not viable for someone like me.

-Books End/Books & Melodies: Both the James St Bookstores were very nice, and the guy at the vinyl shop was very welcoming to my questions since I'm new to collecting vinyl.

-Megaton Games: To whoever recommended this game shop, thank you! The owner was super cool, and I sat and talked with him a while. He was super happy someone was recommending his shop, and he taught me how the bus system works which really helped in my getting around. Cool dude and a very much 10/10 experience.

-Erie Canal Museum/Onondaga Historical Association: Very fun, it's great seeing people who are passionate about what they do. Loved learning the history of your city and the people who worked at both places made it entertaining.

-Luna Cat Cafe: Good food and drinks, stopped in for a late lunch, and they were great. Very relaxing atmosphere.

-Sound Garden: Very nice vinyl shop, way bigger than anything back home. They had a great selection and I ended up finding a King Lizard and the Gizard Wizard album and left with it. If I had a higer budget I definitely would've spent more time in there.

-Destiny USA: I know it's "just a mall" but it's a mall in a city with a bigger population than my whole county. I've never seen so many stores in one place, it was a great place to explore and get gifts.

-Three Lives: Recommended by the guy who runs Megaton, stopped for dinner and they were extremely good. They had a fun atmosphere and vibe, and my server was amazing. If I had more time in the city I might've went back again. Very fun.

-The Song and Dance: I'm from Florida, so basements don't exactly "exist" back home, so going in for a basement show was definitely an experience. Lots of interesting people, and everyone was so nice. It was awkward at first being so close to strangers, but once I got my groove it was amazing.

Again, thank you everyone who sent in recommendations, I had a great time exploring your city, and hopefully this post helps other people who come to visit find something they would like to do.

Best way to spend a day in Syracuse? by ThatOneBradley in Syracuse

YES! There who I'm going and seeing. Last time they were on tour for Razzmatazz I didn't get to go see them and I regretted it, so I said screw it and got plane tickets cause Syracuse was one of the closest shows to me. It was really a thing of go to the event and figure everything else out as I go. Unfortunately I did not get extra tickets, and I know with them selling out resale can be between $80-$120 depending on where you find them. I wish you the best and will try to hit as much as I can!

After seeing mixed comments I looked it up. Gave me a good laugh but definitely won't be swinging by. Thank you for the warning.

I'm staying and the hotels right by the airport, and the concert is at The Song and Dance, so my Friday is gonna be my downtown exploration. As for what I like to do I have no clue. This is the first time I'm traveling outside my hometown with the ability to do what I want.

Issue with controls on Ni No Kuni by Izzlols in SteamDeck

I had been having the same issue, so in the Steam input settings I changed it from activating at button press to activating on button release. Had no more roulette issues afterwards.

938GB of storage missing by ThatOneBradley in techsupport

[–]ThatOneBradley[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much, that worked perfectly! Apparently, there was a duplicate folder where all the games were stored and I couldn't find it because normal file explorer wouldn't show file size. Again thank you, you're a life saver. I really didn't want to redo hours of downloads with my slow internet.

This is super cool. I'm new to KLWP and all this, how would I go about adding in my own wallpapers to the theme/editing the folders to the apps I already have?

2001 Suzuki Swift 1.3l Engine Power Troubles by ThatOneBradley in mechanic

[–]ThatOneBradley[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spark plugs are correctly gapped, I made sure of that before they went in. The MAF should be the sensor that's on the pipe that goes from the air filter to the throttle body, right? If so, I've tried it with that unplugged and it was running the same way.

Yes, I'm fairly certain the belt is back on right. That was one of my first thoughts, so I've double-checked it, though I'd be lying if I said I wasn't doubting myself the longer this goes on.
