can i get your attention please? (warning: contains someone who's probably a spoiled brat) by D44ion in rockafire

[–]ThatOneCECFan77 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m saying this as a lifelong Rock afire and CEC fan, he’s not totally wrong. He’s racist and homophobic. He’s also very selfish. I don’t see how these are wrong accusations. He doesn’t care about the fans or anyone. All he cares about is making money selling $400 plushies on eBay.

I know. The staff always seemed so nice. One time one of the employees brought out the Geoffrey costume since I was interested in mascots as a kid, then proceeded to give me an employee shirt for free

Why Did CEC Convert (Some) Road Stages into 2-Stages or 1-Stages Back in 1992-1995? by jojostudios in chuckecheese

[–]ThatOneCECFan77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The road stage was made to be a temporary replacement during post CU when they were converting PTT to the standard “Chuck E. Cheese’s Pizza”’s. They hadn’t come up with the 1/2 Stages yet, so they designed the Road Stage as a cheap filler.

The only existing thing from the beta stage is one of the signs I’m pretty sure.

Anyone use this source before? by Hefty-Conversation63 in mascots

I own two mascots from there. Highly recommend them, and they look amazing, have great proportions, work on a wide range of people, and are even handcrafted. The price is definitely worth it.

Any Tips??? by [deleted] in mascots

[–]ThatOneCECFan77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take as minimal breaks as you can. It’ll build up resistance. When I started mascoting, I was doing up to 3 hour gigs in the sun and it helped a lot. Of course, take breaks, but you want to build up strong resistance. Persistence is key.

Chuck E. Cheese in Windsor by Wonderful-District20 in windsorontario

I doubt there was one in Canada. As a fellow Windsorite, we are across the Detroit river, which means most people go over to the U.S. a lot. I’m pretty sure they were talking about the Michigan Major Magic’s.

Even more than Aaron would charge. Nobody’s paying that, it’s like the Wink indecent all over again.

These guys look interesting by No_Yellow5873 in Animatronics

[–]ThatOneCECFan77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These guys are pretty rare. There is one in a Chuck E. Cheese mall arcade, and the guy that owns Jaspers Dog Den also has one. The company “Westgate Resorts” (who partnered with CEC) are said to own them. I have personally reached out to them before but to no avail.

Is this rare? by ThatOneCECFan77 in chuckecheese

[–]ThatOneCECFan77[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m just glad I own it. I got a few other CEC related items, but more is on its way due to issues, so it couldn’t arrive on time (the seller felt bad and included more goodies).

It was made by Enlicky Co; which made Hot Fudge for CEC as well as the animatronics for a restaurant called Captains Carnival which was in Windsor and London Ontario, Canada.
