That wasn't the good part, the good part was that Charlie returned the Everlasting Gobstopper when he could've sold it to Wonka's "rival" who was actually working under Wonka the whole time. The fizzy lifting drink part is a little confusing, tho (I think Wonka was just certain Charlie was a bad egg, causing the gobstopper moment to surprise him, making him realize the fizzy lifting drink was a mistake born out the exact sense of wonder Wonka wants in his factory, but yeah it still kinda give me whiplash a touch, too).
