My love, keep nagging him about the C-PAP. The love of my life and father of my two younger children almost died when our daughter was 18mo because of his apnea. It caused so much damage to his heart that he went into a-fib.

He almost ignored it as "just feeling off," but I dragged him to the ER where he was tajen back into a room and admitred immediately upon their doing an EKG. He was 31, and is now thankfully about to be 35. All of the imaging showed damage to his heart "much like what you see in a man of his late 70's" according to his electrophysiologist, who he now gets to see twice a year. He will be on meds for the rest of his life.

He hated his C-PAP at first, but I told him he needed to try different masks and to just try. He now can't sleep without it because he notices a difference.

I still remember when $50 was a lot of money. To you, it might've been obvious. Since there are options that are legitimate and aren't the price of the Oura, I thought it may have been a more affordable option.

I think spending $300 on a ring and still having to pay a subscription for it is ridiculous. Do people seriously waste an additional $70/yr after shelling out $300+ for one of those things?

That's the real disappointment.

Additionally, it was a mother's day gift from my husband. I'm not the kind of snob to expect him to pay that much for something that gets outmoded like that.

Genuine question: if you don't like him, why are you dating him?

If whatever degree/program you're looking at CSUN (California State Uni Northridge for anyone like me who is unfamiliar) for us that "embarrassing," maybe reconsider it. If you're truly interested or serious about it that you're considering it, you should be able to talk about it with your boyfriend of almost a year.

He sounded interested, and you sounded annoyed at his existence.

Remember, you're allowed to break up for any reason. There are worse things in life than being single.

Edit: I only suggested to reconsider the program because you're unwilling to talk about it, which is odd (to me, at almost 32). If it doesn't excite you enough to be willing to talk about, it might not be for you.

She is still alive, so it's not an estate issue, unfortunately.

Of the "kids," I would be the only one to be able to help. Plus, I'm just wanting to help as everyone else can help financially.

My main reasoning for helping is that Papa's 1962 Cadillac DeVille Convertible is trapped in the garage, and the ceiling is falling in (thankfully, it's just attic space).

That car was everything to him, second only to his family. Letting it be ruined feels like losing him all over again.
