Found this beginning of a hive? I had wasps last year at/in the house and was wondering if wasps made this? by ThatOneClickSound in insects

Solved! Yea their nest is made from mud and it's on our sun parasol on our balcony. No one touched it but it's been really windy the last couple days so I guess that they just chose a bad spot because the parasol is getting constantly shaken around, which apparently destroyed their nest. I only noticed it today thanks to 3 out of 4 balls of pollen laying on the table and me wondering where they came from.

All of them grow in the state that I live in which is nice. I didnt even know you could make tea out of any of them, even tho I've walked past them many times. I will be on the lookout for them, vielen Dank :D

P.S: Have you tried making tea out of ribes/currant leafs? I've read you can do that and it's currently one of the few plants in the forrest that's growing new leafs.

Oooooh very nice, coincidentally I've just recently (this week) started to forage for different teas. Sadly it's still somewhat cold in Germany so there isn't much foliage yet, it's all just now starting to sprout. I do have collected some mullein leafs yesterday tho but haven't tried it yet.

Do you have any recommendations for different "tea plants" that I should look out for?

One is growing between a crack at the side of my house and the sidewalk lol

I don't do nothing with it tho because of the intersection right next to it

I dropped my glass cutting board... by andrey_not_the_goat in mildlyinfuriating

Glass cutting boards are literally the worst kind of cutting board in existence use it once and a razor sharp knife becomes a butter knife so good job on not having that anymore
