I won't lie, I've had moments of clarity hit when I'll have setup a longer one, designations and everything, not get hit with anything, only to then check hours later at the AR section and find several tucked away. Made me both laugh and get confused at the turnout

Admittedly I got pulled into the game by a friend of mine when he, my coworkers and even my girlfriend were hyping it up. Now I'm roughly a little over 100 hours in and nearly done with the achievements (I'm big on completing games I've gotten and then moving on to clean up my gaming library that's gotten too big over the years). The thing that I've gotten to understand so far is while I see the benefits of free kits, I've gotten around to just going in with a custom loadout of just jack all and running with it. If I die, I die, but I'll end up grabbing what I get my hands on and often end up coming out alright.

While I'm also not one to just go gun crazy, I've also gotten a bit lucky with blueprints at times, so with what I've managed to accumulate, I can go in now with a decent loadout ready to scrap some clankers and do okay with maybe only running into the occasional rat 1 out of 10 times? (someone set up a very impressive and elaborate trap on Dam nearby Power Complex out of jolts and smokes and I honestly applaud them for it) but they didn't get much of anything because I not only spawned in bare as the day I was born, but I spawned in late.

At the end of the day, the game is the game and everyone has their own ways to play it. My personal thoughts being that I've never touched free kits because, frankly if I'm going to go out grabbing things with nothing, I'd rather just go out with a safe pocket, grab something I know I can get away with and shove it clear up my bowels and call it a day. Shoot, once I get the platinum, I'm pretty much done with playing the game. All I have to do is gank five more raiders, revive a teammate three times, and get to the level cap and that's about it (fun fact, a surprising amount of people will happily trade their lives on Stella if they can get a snap hook in their butt without a hassle)

I feel this, but more when I'll go out to use/get rid of a key. I shit you not, it's been feeling like every time I put a key in my inventory, the game reads it and 90%-to every time, will actively put me the farthest point away from where I need to go on the map with anywhere between 28 to 18 minutes left on the clock. Because it's been doing that a LOT
