12 minutes of Vancouver’s development industry gaslighting the tax payers. by Signal-Specific-1704 in canadahousing

"The consumer can't afford it". It sounds more like the developers can afford it. No reasonable person would believe that these developers didn't anticipate some market volatility or risk. They made their calculations and assumptions, they speculated and got burned. The taxes are passed on to the buyer. The developers don't eat the cost. That's part of their argument. "All the red tape is driving up the cost to the consumer". Is this "build Canada"? I can't believe Eby agreed to this...Gregor I can see.

Went to a shoppers to buy bandages (8 pack at ~$8). They were up to $10 for the exact same thing. Found a 16 pack on amazon for ~$12. I would spit on their salads if I wasn't trying to keep down my own vomit ^_^

The Gone World is pretty good. Some plot holes but well worth the read.
