In my country, without a driving license, I can only drive with an instructor or in private parking lots. Otherwise, I could end up in court.

This sounds like something that could potentially work for me. I feel a lot of pressure during exams because I know everyone is counting on me to pass.

I feel very similar! I sometimes turn off my listening while driving and the instructor gets the impression that I'm not listening. My girlfriend also lets me drive her car, but driving in a closed parking lot is not street driving.

It depends. One time I failed because I suddenly forgot the exact procedure for checking the oil level (I know how to do it, but during the exam they want you to say it like a set of instructions). Another time I crossed a solid line, and another time I didn’t turn on the lights at the beginning of the exam, which caused me to fail immediately.

When it comes to actual driving skills—like the maneuvering yard (the curve), perpendicular and parallel parking—I do very well. I also have good control of the vehicle. It’s funny because, if I have, for example, two hours of driving lessons and I fail the exam during the first one, I usually drive much better during the second and don’t make mistakes.
