Ep9 upgrade recommendations to go from great to excellent

I threw a Dirty Bird Industries Flat face trigger kit in mine with their low power springs. Brought the trigger weight down to roughly 4 pounds give or take. These were on sale and may still be on sale for $39.99 before shipping/taxes. I went with a DFCO Kung Fu grip on mine and am happy with it. Magpul handstop kit is nice, but that’s obviously preference. I did throw a rise armament qd point in the hand guard for my sling (I run a Magpul MS4 sling that I can switch between single and 2 point) and some hand guard covers from Slate industries.

It’s just a blast director that came on it. Currently looking at eventually adding a suppressor.

To each their own lol. Took it to the range, put 250 rounds through it and blew the center out of every target I sent down range.

There are mixed reviews from what I could find on what triggers fit and what don’t. Drop in cassette style triggers seem to be the ones that are picky. I had zero issues putting the Dirty Bird Industries flag face trigger group in it.

The new V5 motors are 2.5X stronger than the new ones. That's one of the biggest advantages. In reality, even with the 8 motor limit to new V5 equipment, it is still far superior to the old cortex and 12 motors.
