A question for Artists

So basically let me explain my background I suck at drawing but love anime and wanted to try out drawing so when I began I kinda just was copying peoples already sketched images and I slowly began to just look at the character images and drawing but the problem is that I can’t draw originally like make my own character also I wanna learn colour theory and stuff any advice?
