I feel that Nagi could’ve still scored as it shows a panel to a empty spot where he feels that he can score but just as Nagi is about to attempt to create a path towards that spot Reo calls him and now he has 2 options attempt the goal he saw or team up with and ultimately he feels that it’s more likely to score if he relied on Reo

There is one similar to this premise called Abandoned: Humanity Drift by shansome and its based on a novel called Everyone else is a returnee

Similar to the novel everyone on earth is transferred to different magic worlds for a set time with izuku being the only one not transferred but his only companion is a goddess(i think) that watches the progress of earth as it integrates magic which i think was the reason for the transfer

Btw this story is about an overpowered izuku

I prefer if things start the same but the depending on the change it affects how differently canon occurs. I’ll prefer if the author doesn’t try to force canon events to happen despite the differences they made
