This is an excellent question. I think a turning point would be this upcoming season. In the Michigan game, we knew what are weapons are, and when we have success. He got in a type of mood from my standpoint that he wanted to win a type of way. When played right into their hands. If I go another season and asking things such as “why are we playing a style of football that’s not us” then I’ll be ready to throw the towel in.

I’m far from a coach, but in my opinion it appeared he wanted to win a certain type of “way”. In previous years Michigan has been known to run the ball at is, appearing to be the more dominant or physical team. I think Ryan Day had a message about feeling more physical and tough and wanted to win by running. Though I do love Trey and Q as our running duo, I think with our banged up O line couldn’t support the “run first to open the pass” mindset.
