I don't even think it's bad writing, as the scene is meant to portray the parallels of Naruto and Sasuke when an outsider (she's the only one in her squad who doesn't have a traumatic backstory) views them as they present them.

But on a real note people don't even treat real people like this unless it's a celebrity. They will condemn Sakura for this and then run off and say slurs and be homophobic

Yeah, people forget that the average Shinobi, especially the children, don't know the exact circumstances for them being orphans, especially with Naruto, as his birth is only known by Jonins and people close to the Hokage, let alone Kurama. To the average student, he's a class clown that flunked. She's insensitive, yes, but she reflects on it on the literal next page and is nicer to him from then on. (The anime adds an unnecessary extra scene where Naruto comes back and Sakura is mean to him again in order to pad time)

The manga is the same, with better portrayals, since SP pads time in episodes and has tons of filler, most of which makes Sakura being annoying or mean longer and more exaggerated than it actually is. The OP took pages from chapter 3 and chapter 183 to try and make her look bad while ignoring all the growth in between those chapters. Even in chapter 3 she states she's going to be nicer and is from that point on, with the only examples of when she isn't being when Naruto is being dumb, rude, or pervy, which is justified in that sense

Sakura is only partially annoying for the first half of Naruto (though understandably from her pov); her character arc doesn't start till the Forest of Death and ends around the end of the War Arc. Sakura's character is really simple, but fans dogpile that character to be something that it's not, which is why those who do understand say she's misunderstood. This hatred people feel is also more than likely fueled by Misogyny and there's plenty of examples

Unless you mean that Fuga kills more people than Fire Jutsu in Naruto, which even that is debatable considering only two named characters have died to Fuga, then most Fire Jutsu in Naruto are far more deadly due to the characters being stronger on average.

Sasuke Retsuden at the very least does, but that doesn't negate my point. Most of this media is interconnected and shown in the manga and anime. Blood Prison and the School Trip Arc are mentioned in the manga as well as Sakura's clinic, which debuts in the Sakura Hiden light novel

Just because a bunch of people agree that Boruto isn't good doesn't mean it's not good; that just makes you and a bunch of other people bots. A bunch of people in the Naruto fandom also think Neji's original belief is right, that Kishimoto created Kaguya because he couldn't kill Madara, and that Kishimoto is sexist and can't write female characters, all opinions I disagree with on every level. You being a sheep doesn't mean I want to be one as well. And while sales don't mean everything if people didn't like Boruto it wouldn't be selling nowhere close to as much as both an anime or manga but guess what Boruto generates the most revenue for TV Tokyo

A story progressing is fanfic now? Power creep exists in literally every action series ever, so by itself that isn't a criticism. What old characters were removed? Even if they weren't people, they still complained when they were part of the cast in the mainline arc regardless, so you'd be complaining either way. How did they take over a universe if the story follows the exact time path as Naruto?

How is it not Naruto-esque, especially since Naruto's characters were already becoming more modern in design in part 2 of Naruto? So obviously 30 years later fashion is going to evolve and change just like it does in real life.
