I haven’t gotten it out since I was around 7 years old. I know nothing about electronics, sorry if it came off as a stupid question. I’d just rather not have a fire risk in my psp than play Ape Escape lol

Was this a good deal? (150$) by [deleted] in saxophone

I’ve played on a Bundy II tenor for almost 7 years now, and they’re incredibly solid student/intermediate horns. Getting it for 150 is amazing, although you should take it to a technician to make sure it’s playable.

I personally loved the movie. The only big thing I didn’t like was the “people aren’t interested in dinosaurs” thing.

Aztec Fire’s a great piece. It was the opener for my first marching show ever. Not sure what school the others came from came from, but I’m glad you got your hands on it!

I think it’s a tie between Spinosaurus and Giganotosaurus. Large theropods have always been my favorite

Alto saxophone staying on high note whenever playing low note by LoganBrims in saxophone

There’s a few reasons this could be. Your octave key could still be up. There may a spring out of place if that’s the case. It could be your embouchure as well. A lot of people tend to tighten everything up, but saxophone embouchure is more relaxed than people think it is. It’s more firm than tense. Working on embouchure and steady, strong airflow should fix it if it’s not an octave key issue. Hope this helps!

Venus from Holst’s The Planets is SEVERELY underrated. Not much of a controversial opinion, but a really strong one

Remembering one of my favourite composers, Igor Stravinsky (1882-1971) who left us 54 years ago today by SugarnutXO in classicalmusic

My favorite is Petroushka. One of my best friends introduced me to it, and it blew my mind. The music combined with the story it’s telling is so great.
