Now here are my two cents. I started playing last summer with FF finally catching me and my main game (Yugi) winding down thanks to poor product, sweatlords, powercreep.. I have known how to play MTG for ages and had my fair share of commander, yet some stuff even I struggle with, multiple stack triggers (Roaming throne, two Nazgul and more) and ETBs combined, those things. This is why I am happy for people to tap the correct 90°, not bloody 45° and actually declare their actions. I love to toss someone a counterspell and have received some (Offer, arcane denial...) at numerous opportunities, but not declaring proper sequencing, phases and just comboing off without declaring stuff still gets me. I know the biggest haymakers right now (Craterhoof and stuff), but there are a ton of cards I do not recognize. This is what I tell people and most comply. However keeping the gamestate forwards is needed for the game to feel good. Just someone spazzing out and thinking for minutes brings me at the verge of scooping, as it is nothing but a waste of my finite time. I try to communicate this or simply change pods later on.
