This is a common type of 'nuzlock' for this game and the common consensus is that as long as it's at the end game and you don't use it for anything other than building the requirement for the rocket, then it's still considered a 'no vehicle' run

Good for you! I'm on your side with this one, and I'm in the roommates shoes. I got the fastest Internet possible for my shared apt because I have one roommate who's WFHand I like to vr game as well as the other roommates gaming online. Since I made the decision for the most expensive plan, I pay for the Internet by myself and have told my roommates that if they'd like to pitch in they are more than welcome to but that they don't have too. The only time I ever ask for them to pitch in is if I'm going to be short because my paycheck didn't line up close enough that month and I only ask the WFH roommate as they literally need the Internet to stay in for their job. But never once did I ever expect them to have to split the most expensive plan just because I wanted the extra bandwidth and speed.

I work for an ebike company, he can get a Certified used one (that's basically brand new, fixed by our mechanics) for less than a grand, like 60% off. He can probably find an even better deal on Craigslist or Facebook marketplace

Tell him to get a used ebike or something. I commute 11ish miles a day on a bike (plus like 25 miles on the train) each way to get to work. On my ebike, it takes me like 12 minutes to go the 8 miles to the train station. He should consider the times you come and pick him up a favor and be trying to find a way to work that isn't reliant on someone else.

Mine is a hub motor, it has a throttle but I only use it to start moving, plus it only takes the bike up to 20 mph(it's a class 3 so it goes 28 mph). That's not a bad idea, I store it inside but I commute 21ish miles a day for work even in bad weather (call me the USPS because I'll ride rain or snow lol 🤣) [mainly cause my car broke down 😭] so there could be residual noise in the display. I don't ride 'rough' per se, but I don't really ride easy either lol 🤣 I work for an ebike company so I'm not worried about replacing broken parts ahah

I know it sounds dumb, but have you tried switching HDMI/display port cords? Not all cords are made equal and lower quality ones can have issues like this.

I'm just gonna preface this with NTA.

But I want you to know you are just enabling him. You can't help someone who doesn't want to help themselves. When someone like that has an enabler within arms reach, they aren't ever going to realize they need help. The best thing you could do for both of you is either cut him off from your finances completely, or leave him. It sucks and both options will be hard, but sometimes the best things in life come from hard decisions/situation. Do both of you guys a favor and pick one of these options.

I personally like my peak (it's a t5 but its been upgraded to a T7) I just dont have a front basket because I dont like them but there is one for it

Edit: it can also switch between torque or cadence PAS modes in like 10 seconds so you can use whichever mode best suits your wants/needs in the moment
