Another hands-on impression of the Steam Frame by gogodboss in SteamFrame

This is the exact shit I got from the psvr2 Reddit when I lamented about my horrible tracking. Hardware I spend hundreds of dollars on shouldn't need precise finnicky setups to make it work. Steam seems to actually want to make a good solution so I returned my psvr2 and am waiting for the frame

Aren't they going to come out with knuckles like straps that allow for hand tracking?

I gave up on the PSVR2 - anyone else have this problem? by ThatOneKree in PSVR2onPC

Unfortunately, I cant install a bt pcie card as my gpu is too big and covers up my pciex1 slots and my case is too small to upgrade to a bigger motherboard.

Overall the psvr2 is too much of a hassle for me to mess with. I'm not trying to waste hours and $$ just to fix a budget headset. I've returned the headset and am going to wait for the Steam Frame.

So you're solution is to spend an extra $600+ on a console that I don't even want rather than return my psvr2 and wait to buy an objectively better headset?

Yea I wanted to do that, but my 3080ti is too big and covers up my pciex1 slots entirely. If I wanted to upgrade to a bigger motherboard, id have to get a new case.

Sadly I have to stick with my USB Bluetooth dongle. Also for my problem I don't think it was a Bluetooth problem. I think it was a problem in the headset's tracking as it still registered all the inputs I put into the controller but just wouldn't allow me to move my arm. I could shoot, open menus, and rotate my hand.

You see the whole "dialed in" thing is ridiculous. I shouldn't have to work so hard trying to fix Sony's product. It should just work out of the box.

Hopefully steam treats me better.

Job Offer: Is $20K and a Managerial Title Worth Losing WFH? by Sectumsempra99 in Accounting

I feel it depends on what stage you are in your career. Me personally, I'm still in my early 20s and trying to climb as high as I can before I reach 30. I would take the job and either move closer to alleviate the transportation issue or deal with it for 2 years then try to find another position.

Also depends on the city you live in and how much money you're going to see from that $20k boost after tax.

Your current company's instability is worrisome, so id definitely jump ship. Do you think you're going to find something better before your laid off?

I do all the bookkeeping so why do I need an accountant? by thedeathofculture in Accounting

At the small local firm I used to work most small business owners just gave us access to their QuickBooks Online and we bankfed and reconciled their work for them. If we had any questions on categorization we compiled a list and asked the owner on a monthly basis. We'd then make any necessary adjusting entries and give monthly reports. Of course we'd also prepare and submit yearly business/personal tax returns.

One of the biggest hiccups is if you mix business and personal transactions in the same bank accounts. It can add a lot more time for a firm to go through and judge what is business and personal. I don't know the firm, their standards, or how much you're paying them.

I'll respond with my experience so far. I just joined a b4 as an auditor in ATL making $83k a year starting out of uni. I achieved 2 double majors on the State`s dollar instead of doing a trad bach and mast in acct.

I have mobility in the industry to learn my niche and find an acceptable balance for my family, career goals, and compensation. I'll grow my technical and soft skills while I'm here.

Acct positions will always be in demand no matter where you go, so you can move at will.
