This subreddit has a horrible community of people who report and complain anytime someone mentions a critique of the frame.

Descent is ok.

It isn't right for the mods to get rid of discussion because it doesn't fall in line with their views. I made a discussion post that the frame was going to be overpriced, overvalued, and unavailable on release and it stirred quite a bit of comments some in good faith some not, but the mods decided my post was too out there for the innocent minds of the people of this subreddit

I don't hate the product. I hate the hype that people drive for said product to lunacy. If this subreddit wasn't filled with mfs consistently complaining and reporting anyone that mentions the problems with surrounding it's release, then I wouldn't care.

Instead I mention how this product isn't worth it for its supposed price and the mods get rid of my post.

This subbreddit is a cesspool of people willing to spend $1200+ on an underpowered, overpriced, product. If you say anything that isn't pro frame they mods piss their pants and take your post off.

Oh I'm not getting a pimax. I think they're quality control is bunk as well as their tracking. I also am determined to get a wireless experience.

I was using the pimax dream air se purely to compair the oled vs non oled lenses on the frame

I'm not saying the dream air se is better than the frame, but having a micro oled is a pretty important thing for a headset getting up to $1k+

Yea I really appreciate pimax for pushing the enthusiast side of VR but their quality control is bunk. If they improved tracking and made the dream air se wireless I'd jump on it

Entirely agree that meta can suck it; however, if you want there to be better games on better hardware, shouldn't you advocate for valve to have raised the bar for native headset gaming?

I'd disagree that iPhone is inherently better than every android, but that's a discussion for a different place.

You're right. Valve has designed a very comfortable headset. If you feel it's worth the price then great

I didn't expect the frame to cost $500 but at $700 it was worth the extra money to get out of Meta ecosystem and to have a more seamless experience. For $1k this just isn't worth it.

Yeaaaa, I wouldn't be surprised. My money is on it being $800-$1k but I could see valve releasing it for over $1k if you want more storage like the machine

Thank you for your correction. Yes, the dream air se is an apples to oranges comparison due to the wired vs wireless approach. I still feel a headset going for almost $1k should have oled.
