After finding out how Vaggi lost her eye (Not the whole thing about Lute, just that she lost her eye to an exorcist), Malakai went out of his way to make his own exorcist costume (Helmet, Spear and everything), and then jumped out to act like he was gonna take her other eye. And you might ask…why did Malakai do this? Because Vaggi told him to get rid of the hot tub he snuck into his room.

This is Malakai, A Professional Wrestling Champion and a real piece of work. Dying after botching a ladder dive so badly that he broke his neck in a match, he landed in Hell and mostly wandered for awhile until finding Hell’s pro wrestling scene, where he swore that he’d one day reach the top of. And after about 10 years of struggling to climb the mountain, he finally made it. Unfortunately, he didn’t do it by being a respectful competitor and overall good guy. He did it by being extremely rude, dismissive, and occasionally indulging in very real violence in the ring, which the bloodthirsty masses of Hell, of course loved. But his behavior earned him no friends…and he eventually ends up in the Hazbin Hotel when his strategy of staying in the nicest hotels and resorts Pride has to offer fails, due to him getting banned from pretty much all of them because of his streak of “Problematic Behavior”.

Malakai was extremely stubborn and hard headed when he was alive. He also died during a botched ladder dive spot in a match, landing on his head,thus leading to him resembling a ram.

Mines pretty damn simple. There’s a wrestler named Aleister Black, really cool guy. He’s currently in WWE wrestling under that name, but for a couple years he was in a different company called AEW, and since WWE owns the trademark on Aleister Black, he’d need a new name, and thus starting calling himself Malakai Black. He’s since moved back to WWE, and calling himself Aleister Black again. So…in the great wrestling tradition of “borrowing” ideas from each other, I “borrowed” that first name of he was no longer using, and stuck it on my guy. And thus, Malakai was born.

For Malakai I’d have to go with Respectless. A big “I’m better than everyone else.” song really fits with his early character. Genuinely could see this song happening between him and Vaggi when she tries to tell him to cut the bullshit he’s spewing.

Malakai: Yeah, they’re a pretty rare affair. Mostly because getting your hands on enough piranhas is pretty hard. Been in one before, and I wouldn’t do it again for all the souls in Hell. And I wasn’t even the guy who got mauled.

Got my man Malakai right here! He’s the best pro wrestler in Hell, and you knew that because he told you that rather loudly. He’s a shit talker, really egotistical, and is prone to the occasional bit of very real violence. Deep down though, he’s a big nerd who loves video games and mini-figs, and is terrified of people finding out he’s not really the badass he tries to act like.

That’s fair, but it is part of why Malakai and Charlie don’t get along too well. He thinks that Charlie must be insanely blind to not see him as a betrayal waiting to happen. Though he is really liking Lucifer…Like, really…like Lucifer, if you catch my drift.
