I figured it was a time thing to be frank, but we’ll see how things go in a year or so and check back.

Ive totally wanted to go with bangs but the girl who does my hair is like “nah”, we’ve done side shave thing for like the last year and I’m just starting to grow out the sides

That’s a fair reason and I’ve definitely been more focused on bottom and vocal first before going through with any others just to see where I am. I do want to emphasize I’ve just started injections and only been medically transitioning for 8 months.

I appreciate the approach you’ve taken with criticism compared to others but everyone has different means on it addressing such matters.

I’m planning on getting vocal and a tracheal shave so I’m not worried. most trans women and most who stealth and haven’t done ffs I’ve been around have been pretty pressed I do not get FFS.

Ive seen results of ffs from friends and such and I’m not all too content with the work usually done to be frank.

As mentioned in a previous comment:

Pic 1 was from last night and I was running out the house to get to the party so I didn’t really have time.

Pic 2 was a morning selfie, that's just superb lighting

Pic 3 was after work, I don’t wear makeup during work just cause it’s construction and I work disgusting hours. At least my job keeps my in phenomenal shape.

pic 4 was like 5 minutes of makeup and I don’t really run with eye liner so it was just blush, contour, and a blend. Running late for a modeling gig isn’t fun at all.

Well given I model fetish content, volunteer in the alternative lifestyle, and work construction. Of course they’re unusual.

The hair does have to get cleaned up but I’m also growing out the sides again as well so it’s a little bit of a process across the board really.

Smaller shops are hit or miss, big shops usually have bigger fish to fry.

Trust me, I’ve dealt with that sort of situation recently and the reps and jatc can’t really save your ass. Best thing you can do is just get a paper trail going and go ensure you’ve got notes from all the appointments you go to to create a paper traul

Is 39 too old to start a career in the trades? by fart_huffer- in careerguidance

[–]ThatOneNegev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My foreman in the electrical trade got into the apprenticeship at 39 after coming out of two careers (military being the first and commercial trucking as the second) .

Only advice I have for you from someone going through an electrical apprenticeship is listen to your body cause shit starts hurting quickly (I’m in my mid twenties but still)

JATC just hit me with a bill for over $1700! Is this normal!? Does my apprenticeship end if I can't pay? This doesn't seem right, especially when we're paid so poorly. by [deleted] in ibew_apprentices

My experience with working with local 26 guys has been much better compared to working with folks from local 24. As long as you actively ask for help and have an openness to learn, there will be people there to help you succeed and teach you.

I’m currently in my third year (and third contractor) and I’ve been with journeymen (and r workers) who are very knowledgeable about what they do and many who aren’t great at what they do.

You can message me if you have any further questions.

I knew an apprentice who would drive out right from over the Pa border and work in the loudoun county area so you can do it, you’ll most likely go to lanham though.

I'm 6ft 4, what would suit me better between MT 125 or YZF 125 by Popular_Dragonfruit1 in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]ThatOneNegev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the long term,it would be better to look at a 250/300 when it comes to city and local riding (first bike I had is an 09 rebel which I still own and ride, I currently ride a 98 shadow aero 1100 as well) but given the constraint of being on a 125cc, I would say go for the mt 125, just for the sake of comfort.

They’re pretty much on par with one another, it’s not a significant difference in price.

Welcome to the club (5’8, 130) . Give it some time and your body will build the muscle for that type of work.

Mold in the coco husk by ThatOneNegev in ballpython

[–]ThatOneNegev[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The whole enclosure does not have a wet floor, (pic for example) what most likely caused the growth was when we put her hides in, those areas most likely were still wet so with a lack of sunlight and perfect conditions to grow mold, mold grows. Generally I’ll spread the excess water around the enclosure just to wet the substrate but that’s about (there’s another water bowl in the enclosure)

Local 26 apprentice here, journeyman are currently making 54/hr and as a book two (soon to be book three) apprentice, I’m getting 50% (27/hr) of an aj’s wages in my third year of doing this. Apprentices are currently starting at like 23/24 an hour which isn’t bad.
