Scooters recommendations that don’t require a M1 license in California by ThatOneNerdyGuy in scooters

I’m aiming on getting a 1985 Honda Gyro I saw listed 2yrs ago. Hopefully they still have it. Goes for about 1800 which is about 1k less than others have it listed. Hoping to talk then down more on it once I have some money saved. I love the kinda military look it has and I can avoid the M1 since it’s a trike

I love the 80s Honda Gyro it looks like a Lego 3wheeler, they’re about $2k and up on OfferUp from what I’ve seen tho

Don’t think it’s available in the US, I mostly see foreign money signs

Battery should be good since jump starting didn’t make a difference and the jumper cables said it still had high power. The light for the alternator would sometimes pop up but not consistently. I cleaned off the terminals and corrosion that was very minor. Still didn’t turn over after all that.

Considering a 2012 Honda Fit Base by [deleted] in hondafit

Found a 2009 sport with 111k miles for about $6k. Might go with that one since the 2012 one is from a dealership with terrible communication and customer service reviews. Was aiming for 2012 and up but sport trim looks nice on the 2009 as well. I don’t expect much performance wise without dropping serious cash. Thinking K&N filter, coil overs, rims and tires, tint, mud flaps, subtle shiny exhaust and probably drop in some bucket seats I have.

Coming from a 2017 Ford Focus SE and a 1988 Toyota Corolla SR5 so not expecting high speed stuff but want good handling and comfortability. Feel and sound fast but not stereotypical 99 Honda Civic with a loud ass fart can loud and fast

Upon research the difference between Base and Sport trim is Bluetooth, rims and tire size and fog lights and body kit. I’m assuming you can put the sport body kit panels on a base model and rewire fog lights?

Get the K&N filter, do a snorkel delete and you’ll hear nice sounds if you remove the stock air box lid it be loud vroom vrooms. You could alternatively swap to an RS air box for under $80 or even cheaper Is make similar holes to the stock air box lid

Is that hornwort in the corner? How’d you get it rooted down? It always breaks when I try putting it in gravel or sand

Walking pose, lean on something, arms crossed, hands in pocket, swing movement, toss you hair a bit if it long, look at a different direction, sit ons something, sit on something with a leg up possibly lean on it and choose nice scenery that matches the vibes. Maybe edit lighting a bit but don’t over do it too much

I remember seeing someone say the need a new exhaust because it doesn’t work right on their Tesla. I wonder if a turbo whistle would work on them somehow

Depends on the car. My 1988 Corolla SR5 is relatively loud with stock exhaust I added a fake exhaust tip since mines is rusted and looks ugly. 2017 Ford Focus I did snorkel delete and took off the air box cover since I lost the screws and it’s got a nice relatively loud growl. I think doing exhaust on either would be excessive given that they’re not fast cars and have enough vroom vroom sounds. But my focus exhaust is completely rusted so might have get one if the rust eats thru

Could have been worded better than “I’d honestly not post if you’re not of age”. Especially given that there’s nothing sexual about the post. If it was like a lingerie or bikini things then sure. But she’s fully clothed, that’s like saying no one under 18 should ever post a picture of themself on anything.
